Abstract: A first onboard device-mounted on a measuring vehicle—includes a LiDAR, and it receives a reflected wave which is laser emitted to and reflected by a road surface and recognizes a curve start location of a lane line on the road surface based on reflected wave intensity. The first onboard device-transmits road surface information including the recognized curve start location to a server device via a network. The server device gives information indicating the curve start location to information regarding the lane line in map information based on the road surface information. A second onboard device mounted on a vehicle acquires the information regarding the lane line from the server device and estimates a current location by comparing a curve start location of the lane line recognized by a LiDAR and the information indicating the curve start location of the lane line acquired from the server device.

Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a method for processing surrounding information which enables improvement of accuracy for estimation of a current position of a moving body. The objective is achieved by detecting light transparent region information of the surrounding information acquired by a sensor in a detection step, wherein the light transparent region information corresponds to a light transparent region. Further, in a generation step, information after removal is generated by removing the light transparent region information from the surrounding information. In this manner, a current position for a travelling vehicle can be estimated with the information after removal. The estimation accuracy can be improved by omitting the information about the light transparent region for which the acquired information may vary.

Abstract: An ultrasonic sensor includes: an ultrasonic element provided to transmit or receive an ultrasonic wave propagating along a directional axis; and an element housing case that includes a case diaphragm having a thickness direction along the directional axis. A resonant space is defined between the case diaphragm and the ultrasonic element for the propagating wave, by housing the ultrasonic element while separating the ultrasonic element from the case diaphragm. A horn shape is defined in the element housing case in which a width of the resonant space in a direction orthogonal to the directional axis is reduced as the resonant space extends in an axial direction parallel to the directional axis.
Abstract: This single-shaft combined cycle plant comprises: a power generator; a gas turbine; a steam turbine that is driven by using waste heat from the gas turbine, and is connected to the power generator by a clutch when the rotational speed syncs with the rotational speed of the gas turbine; a steam turbine over-rotation prevention device; a gas turbine over-rotation prevention device; and a control device. The control device sets the power generator to an unloaded state and, whilst maintaining the rotational speed Ng of the gas turbine so as to be higher than the rotational speed Ns of the steam turbine and lower than the maximum rotational speed Nglim of the gas turbine, increases the rotational speed Ns of the steam turbine to the maximum rotational speed Nslim of the steam turbine (time t2-t4) and tests whether or not the steam turbine over-rotation prevention device operates normally.
