  • Publication number: 20240146434
Abstract: Provided are a wireless communication apparatus and a reference signal generating method, wherein inter-cell interference is reduced inside and outside a CoMP set. A CoMP mode setting unit (101) sets whether the terminal (100) thereof is a CoMP terminal or a Non-CoMP terminal. When the terminal (100) is set as a Non-CoMP terminal, the hopping pattern calculating unit (104) calculates a ZC sequence number to be used as the transmission timing, from among all the ZC sequence numbers that can be used within the system. When the terminal (100) is set as a CoMP terminal, the hopping pattern calculating unit (104) calculates a ZC sequence number to be used as the transmission timing, by hopping the ZC sequence numbers to be used within the CoMP set. A ZC sequence generating unit (105) generates a ZC sequence to be used as an SRS, using the calculated ZC sequence number.

  • Patent number: 7272326
Abstract: According to the present invention, an optical communication system is provided, in which a high reliability, a high quality and a low cost transmission are realized. The signal light reached to the optical receiver is detected and converted to an electrical signal by the optical-to-electrical converter. The electrical signal is inputted to the filter that has a convex characteristic with a peak frequency between 2 GHz to 4 GHz, which compensates the frequency characteristic of the signal light. Namely, a concave characteristic of the signal light with a bottom frequency between 2 GHz and 4 GHz due to the accumulated dispersion of the optical transmission path can be compensated.

  • Patent number: 7021832
Abstract: In addition to the optically passive alignment between the optical fiber and the semiconductor device using a V-groove provided on a substrate made of silicon single crystal, the active alignment therebetween may be carried out for enhancing the optical coupling efficiency. According to the present invention, the optical module provides a coupling member including a center waveguide and a sheath member covering the center waveguide. The outer shape of the sheath member is an elliptic so that the center position of the center waveguide may move as the coupling member rotates in the V-groove such that the outer surface thereof touches two sides of the V-groove. Accordingly, the optical coupling efficiency with the semiconductor device may be varied. The ellipticity of the elliptic outer shape is preferably greater than unity and not greater than 2, and the bottom angle of the V-groove is preferably not smaller than 60° and not greater than 120°, in particular, the angle is preferably a right angle in substance.

  • Publication number: 20050105573
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a laser driving circuit having a comparably short time constant, accordingly, can follow fluctuations with a short time interval. The circuit of the present invention provides a feedback transistor in addition to a driver transistor for driving the laser diode and a photodiode for detecting a portion of the optical output of the laser diode. The feedback transistor controls, by receiving the information derived from the photo current generated in the photodiode, the current flowing in the driver transistor and the laser diode. The time constant of the feedback loop, i.e., the laser diode, the photodiode, the feedback transistor, the driver transistor and the laser diode, is far smaller than that of the APC loop. Therefore, the feedback control for the short time constant phenomena may be carried out.
