  • Publication number: 20160009018
Abstract: Problem: To provide an in-mold label for stretch blow molding having excellent adhesiveness of the label particularly after molding of a molded product. Furthermore, to provide a labeled stretch blow molded product that uses the label. Resolution Means: An in-mold label for stretch blow molding, the in-mold label comprising a substrate layer (I) and a heat sealable resin layer (II), the substrate layer (I) comprising a thermoplastic resin and an inorganic fine powder, the heat sealable resin layer (II) comprising a coating layer formed by applying a coating solution containing an ethylene-based copolymer on the substrate layer (I) and drying.

  • Publication number: 20110315587
Abstract: A label having a thickness of from 30 to 120 ?m and a Gurley stiffness of from 5 to 40 mgf, and comprising an adhesive layer with a melting heat quantity of from 10 to 55 J/g, is adhered on a body of a container having a thickness of 50 to 130 ?m, so that the direction of the label having a Gurley stiffness of from 5 to 40 mgf can correspond to the circumferential direction of the container body, by an in-mold method. Thereby, the label can be adhered with a sufficient adhesion strength and a thin container which is not deformed by the label can be provided.

  • Patent number: 7514131
Abstract: An in-mold label includes a thermoplastic resin film substrate layer and a heat-seal resin layer. The label has a label body and a separable part. Tearable perforations are provided between the label body and the separable part. The adhesion strength between the separable part and a thermoplastic resin container is from 80 to 270 gf/10 mm, when the label is stuck to the container during in-mold production of the container. A lubricant is applied to from 55 to 80% of the surface area of the heat-seal resin layer of the separable part. The wettability index of both the thermoplastic resin film substrate layer surface and the heat-seal resin layer surface is from 34 to 73 mN/m.
