Abstract: There is disclosed an information display apparatus in which a control apparatus main body for controlling a plasma display apparatus for displaying video can disconnectably be connected to a substrate for outputting video data toward the control apparatus main body via a connector. The substrate includes: a RAM and ROM in which information is stored; a video control unit which uses the information to create the video data; and a CPU for controlling the RAM, ROM, and video control unit, the control apparatus main body includes a power source unit for supplying power to the substrate, and the power source unit is connected to the substrate via the connector.

Abstract: A multiple projection television system is comprised of a plurality of projection units stacked in matrix to form a large television screen. Each of the projection units has a cabinet, a projector provided in the cabinet, and a screen secured to a front portion of the cabinet. A mounting frame is provided in the cabinet for slidably mounting the projector in forward and rearward directions. A back of the cabinet is opened so as to allow removing of the projector from the cabinet. The screen is detachably secured to the cabinet so as to allow removing of the projector from the cabinet.

Abstract: A projection television set includes a body composed of at least two divided upper and lower units, a screen assembly having an integrally formed screen corresponding to the body, and a plurality of bolt and nut assemblies for coupling the divided units together. Each of the upper and lower units has a projector for emitting light rays for forming an image on a screen and a reflector for reflecting the light rays from the projector onto the screen. The projector of the lower unit is arranged below the reflector of the lower unit, and the projector of the upper unit is arranged in an intermediate position between the reflector of the upper unit and the reflector of the lower unit so that setting angles of the two reflectors are different from each other. A screen assembly is mounted on a front face of the body.

Abstract: A projection television set in which a seamless image may be obtained on a screen. A screen plate of a screen assembly is held under a suspended state by a frame in a state wherein the left and right parts are centered in the frame. A cruciform light-shielding frame is mounted on the frame. A light-shielding plate is swingably mounted on a horizontal light-shielding frame of the frame. The position of the light shielding plate is adjusted in response to the vertical movement of a horizontal joint. Also, the horizontal joint line adjusting mechanism is provided independently of a centering mechanism for a vertical joint line.

Abstract: A screen fixing device of a projection type television system including a projection unit comprises a fixing frame for detachably fixing a screen, the fixing frame being provided with a plurality of through holes each extending laterally of a front opening frame surround a front opening section at which the screen is provided, and a fastening screw penetrating each through hole for fixing the fixing frame to the front opening section of the projection unit. The fixing frame has substantially an L-shaped cross section at least at a portion through which the through hole is formed. Instead of the fixing frame, a fixing block may be used. The fixing device may comprise a plurality of first fixing members for detachably fixing the screen with a space with each other and a plurality of second fixing members for fixing the first fixing members to the front opening section of the projection unit. The first fixing members are formed of a transparent material.

Abstract: A projection image unit comprises a screen, a box-like casing arranged behind a back surface of the screen having an opening face directed to the back surface and a projector disposed in the casing so as to project an image on the screen. The casing has outside dimensions in cross-section smaller than those of the screen. A plurality of projection image units are piled in matrix in an outer frame so as to constitute a projection image system having a large screen. The outer frame unit comprises vertical frames and horizontal frames constituting the outer configuration of the outer frame unit. A horizontal frame member is disposed between the vertical frames of the outer frame unit through a gap between the vertically adjacent projection image units, and a vertical frame member is disposed between the horizontal frames of the frame unit through a gap between the horizontally adjacent projection image units.
