  • Publication number: 20050200574
Abstract: Provided is a self light emitting display module by which defect can be reported to a user immediately in a case where defect occurs for example in a pixel of a light emitting display panel. Output terminal potentials of constant current sources I1-In which supply constant currents to respective EL elements E11-Enm arranged in a light emitting display panel 1 are drawn via inspection lines TL1-TLn and are selected by a select switch SW1. A selected electrical potential is supplied to first and second comparators CP1, CP2 whose comparison reference potentials differ, and their comparison results are latched by latch circuits LC1, LC2 respectively to be stored in a data register 6 provided as a memory means. A determination is made as to whether or not defect has occurred in a portion of a part including the respective EL elements and respective drivers 2,3 through data stored in the data register 6.

  • Patent number: 6917110
Abstract: A semiconductor device capable of inhibiting a conductive plug from increase of resistance or disconnection resulting from moisture discharged from a first insulator film while reducing the capacitance between adjacent first interconnection layers is obtained. This semiconductor device comprises a plurality of first interconnection layers formed on a semiconductor substrate at a prescribed interval, a first insulator film, formed to fill up the clearance between the plurality of first interconnection layers, having an opening reaching the first interconnection layers and a conductive plug charged in the opening of the first insulator film and formed to be in contact with the first interconnection layers. An impurity is selectively introduced into a first region of the first insulator film in the vicinity of contact surfaces between the first interconnection layers and the conductive plug, thereby selectively modifying the first region of the first insulator film.

  • Publication number: 20040257931
Abstract: The present invention relates to a recording apparatus and a recording method for recording content that is supplied as a stream with improved ease and without causing a loss by an apparatus controlled by a multitask operating system that does not ensure a turnaround time. An audio-data processing program 83 controls reception of audio data that is input. A recording application program 85 controls recording of the input audio data on an HDD 14. A socket service program 84-1 receives audio data from the audio-data processing program 83 under the control of a first process. Also, the socket service program 84-1 controls transfer of audio data under the control of a second process that controls transfer only while data to be transferred to the recording application program 85 is being received and that is terminated immediately upon completion of the transfer. The present invention can be applied to a recording/playback apparatus that records or plays back audio data.

  • Publication number: 20040119798
Abstract: The present invention can reduce the amount of ink in an outlet-side space which is sucked together with gas, without making the thickness of an isolating member for separating the inside of the sub-tank into an inlet-side space and the outlet-side space in the horizontal direction extremely thin nor making an inflow channel for allowing the ink in the inlet-side space to flow into the outlet-side space extremely small. The present invention has an isolating member in the form of a plate for separating the inside of a sub-tank coupled to a recording head into an inlet-side space connected to a main-tank and an outlet-side space connected to the recording head, and an inflow channel in the form of a slit for increasing the ink level in the inlet-side space while allowing the ink in the inlet-side space to flow into the outlet-side space from the isolating member.

  • Publication number: 20040114011
Abstract: The invention offers an inkjet printer which does not produce defective prints when bubbles enter ink supply tube. There is provided an air trap in an ink supply tube near an ink delivery port of an ink tank. The air trap is a hollow rectangular parallelepiped with a flow passage length of Lx, a height of Lh as measured from the bottom of an ink flow to a highest part, and a width of W. On its downstream end, the air trap has an outlet having a height of Ly as measured from the bottom of an ink flow. The air trap has a bubble catching space above the outlet. The dimensions are determined so that bubbles float at least up to height Ly while passing through the flow passage of length Lx. When bubbles flow into the air trap, they float and are caught in the space of the air trap before reaching the outlet.
