  • Patent number: 7402150
Abstract: Disclosed is an injection device for properly dissolving pharmaceutical agents contained in a two-compartment syringe having slidable front and rear walls, and then performing portionwise multiple injections. The injection device comprises a front casing designed to enclose and hold the two-compartment syringe with a double-ended needle attached to the front end of it, a rear casing designed to receive the thus held two-compartment syringe being inserted in the rear-end first manner, and to lock and hold the front casing, a piston rod placed in the rear casing and designed to push from behind and carry forward the slidable rear wall, wherein the piston rod can be pushed forwardly from behind the rear casing, and a spring provided so that, when the front end of the piston rod is moved backward, the spring may be once compressed and then push the piston rod to a forward position again, and forwardly drives the slidable rear wall to abut on the slidable front wall.

  • Patent number: 6950953
Abstract: A multifunctional printer is provided with a main CPU that controls the entire apparatus, main power unit that supplies power to the main CPU, sub CPU that shuts down the power supply from the main power unit to the main CPU at a predetermined condition and restores the power supply from the main power unit to the main CPU upon detecting a factor canceling the power supply shut-down, PC interface board that informs the sub CPU about the factor canceling the power supply shut-down upon detecting a printing request from a PC, and sub power unit that supplies the power to the sub CPU and PC interface board separately from the main power unit.

  • Publication number: 20050141025
Abstract: An image forming apparatus comprises an interface which can communicate with the information processing apparatus that serves as the source of updating firmware. The image forming apparatus further comprises a memory which stores a plurality of firmware programs and a controller which performs firmware updates by sequentially storing the updating firmware transferred from the information processing apparatus. When a plurality of firmware programs are transferred from the information processing apparatus, the controller performs a reboot operation to activate the updated firmware upon completing the storage and the rewriting of the updating firmware in the memory.
