  • Publication number: 20060118620
Abstract: In a data transfer device which performs a data transfer processing to transfer data of a plurality of service applications in an old IC card to a new IC card, a list information acquisition unit acquires application list information of the plurality of service applications in the old IC card based on card identifier information acquired from the old IC card. A data acquisition unit acquires the transferred data of the plurality of service applications in the old IC card based on the acquired application list information, and records the transferred data in the new IC card.

  • Patent number: 6955295
Abstract: When a plurality of cards are produced successively, a risk value is calculated in regard to either data deletion or change on the card issue data of each card caused by cancellation of issue or a change of address. The cards are produced in ascending order of the risk value, so that the production of a card having higher occurrence probability of data deletion or change is postponed to the maximum extent. With this, it becomes possible to reduce such work as discarding the card due to the issue cancellation or replacing a pasteboard due to the address change required after the card is produced. Thus, efficient card issue processing can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6866192
Abstract: A communication control function for prohibiting communication with card programs due to other terminal applications while a certain terminal application is communicating with its corresponding card program is assigned by the present invention to the IFD driver, which controls communication with an IC card, in an IC card terminal. This enables an IC card terminal to process commands from a plurality of terminal applications without causing an error to occur.

  • Patent number: 6766961
Abstract: A multi-application type IC card that can be accessed by an external terminal of a file system type IC card. There are installed, on a multi-application type IC card, emulator programs that can process commands from an external terminal for a file system type IC card. This will enable an external terminal for a file system type IC card to access a multi-application type IC card.

  • Patent number: 6622914
Abstract: The present invention relates to a card system in which a card with memory function capable of rewritably holding a plurality of services (applications), for example, an IC card is installed with a plurality of services (applications) for receiving the service, and the user is informed, briefly and correctly of the card contents. The present invention comprises a card information distribution system which receives information corresponding to a card and controls the received information to thereby transmit the information corresponding to the card to a destination corresponding to the card, and a card information presentation system (portable terminal or the like) for presenting the information transmitted from the card information distribution system.
