  • Publication number: 20040016136
Abstract: A spectacle frame shape measuring apparatus includes a measurement element holding mechanism. The measurement element holding mechanism holds a measurement element in a substantially loadless state along a frame groove formed in the inner circumferential surface of a rim of a spectacle frame. The measurement element holding mechanism includes a rod, balance spring, and evacuating mechanism. The rod is vertically movable and has an upper end portion on which the measurement element is mounted. The balance spring pushes the rod upward to hold the measurement element at a loading position during shape measurement. The evacuating mechanism regularly evacuates the measurement element to an evacuation position, thereby performing three-dimensional measurement of a rim shape. A spectacle frame shape measuring apparatus holder is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6072596
Abstract: When a digital image recording means records digital image on an image recording medium based on order information or on digital image data, a computing means calculates digital image layout information, and calculates, based on the digital image layout information, X-cut size information used for cutting the image recording medium in the direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the conveyance means and Y-cut size information used for cutting the image recording medium in the direction perpendicular to the cutting direction for the X-cut. A cutting means which cuts the image recording medium into a prescribed size has an X-cut means to cut the image recording medium in the direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the conveyance means in accordance with the X-cut size information and a Y-cut means to cut the image recording medium in the direction perpendicular to the cutting direction of the X-cut in accordance with the Y-cut size information.

  • Patent number: 6057728
Abstract: A decision circuit (10) monitors a main current flowing in an IGBT (1), and when operation of the IGBT (1) enters an overcurrent state and the control voltage applied to the control terminal (G) of the IGBT (1) is equal to or larger than the threshold voltage, it determines that the IGBT (1) is in the overcurrent state and places the IGBT (1) in an OFF state, and also outputs the result of the determination as an output signal to an external microcomputer from an error output terminal (9). Receiving this output signal, the microcomputer immediately fixes driving signals for the IGBT (1) and another IGBTs at an OFF signal level to disconnect these IGBTs, thus preventing the main current of the IGBT (1) from increasing to a still larger overcurrent to protect the IGBT (1). Generation of a turn-off surge voltage is suppressed in the overcurrent state by detecting the overcurrent state of the power transistor by earlier timing.

  • Patent number: 5966505
Abstract: In a method of producing converting data, a first characteristic curve showing relationship between density value and exposure amount is obtained by forming images on a first photographic material with plural different amounts of exposure and by measuring density values of the formed images. Digital exposure amount data is determined so as to represent the exposure amount of the first characteristic curve. The first characteristic curve is modified so as to show relationship between the density value and the digital exposure amount data by changing the exposure amount to the digital exposure amount data. A second characteristic curve showing relationship between density value and digital input value for exposing means is obtaiend by forming images on a second photographic material by the exposure means based on plural different digital input values and by measuring density values of the formed images.
