  • Publication number: 20050095434
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a laminate which is halogen-free, has sufficient flame retardancy even when a thickness is not more than 0.2 mm, and has sufficient humidity resistance and hygroscopic solder heat resistance. A resin composition comprising: (A) a compound having at least two or more maleimide groups; (B) a phenolic resin; and (C) an epoxy resin; wherein at least one of said (B) or (C) has a naphthalene ring; the total weight of the naphthalene ring when calculated using the OH equivalent and epoxy equivalent of (B) and (C) respectively is not less than 20 weight % to the total weight of (A), (B) and (C) components; and the total sum of the content ratio of the (A) component and that of the naphthalene ring is not less than 65 weight % to the total weight of the (A), (B) and (C) components, and a prepreg and laminate obtained from the same.

  • Publication number: 20040068059
Abstract: A high molecular weight aliphatic polyester copolymer, a high molecular weight aliphatic polyester copolymer containing polylactic acid; process for industrially producing these copolymers; composition of these copolymers; and various uses thereof. These copolymers have practical properties which make the copolymers moldable. They are free from the problem of plasticizer bleeding and can be degraded by microorganisms present in soils or water. They give moldings, such as sheets and films, which combine a sufficient strength with tear resistance. When the copolymers are ones having a branched structure, they give a molding having excellent mechanical properties. The moldings obtained from compositions containing either of these copolymers are excellent in elongation and biodegradability and have a satisfactory balanc therebetween. In particular, blending with one or more other biodegradable resins gives a molding having better moldability.

  • Publication number: 20030086762
Abstract: A paved road including a reinforcement sheet layer (1A) and a pavement layer (22), in which said reinforcement sheet layer (1A) includes an asphalt layer (2) laminated to at least one side of a reinforcement sheet (1) including a composite material that is impregnated with a thermoplastic resin so that a volume content of a continuous glass fiber is not less than 30% and not more than 85% using the continuous glass fiber as reinforcement fiber is provided. The paved road shows remarkably excellent durability to rutting and crack, and a thin surfacing (thin layer pavement) paving with thickness of asphalt made thinner becomes possible.

  • Patent number: 6468643
Abstract: The invention provides a laminated product of urethane-based resin. That is, the invention arranges a continuous reinforcing fiber to one direction, impregnates the arranged fiber with thermoplastic resin to form a prepreg sheet having 50% in volume ratio of the fiber, laminates two or more resulting prepreg sheets so as to intersect fiber directions at right angles or further laminate of the prepreg sheet to form a fiber-reinforced resin layer, laminates a urethane-based resin layer on the resulting fiber-reinforced resin layer, and thus provides a urethane-based resin laminated product having excellent dimensional stability and application ability.

  • Patent number: 5935683
Abstract: A waterproof material is disclosed herein which is obtainable by laminating many sheets of a photo-setting type fiber reinforced thermosetting resin composition comprising a resin composition containing a thermosetting resin, a photopolymerization initiator and a thickener, and a fiber reinforced material, or by laminating plural sheets of a synthetic polymer, and a waterproof application method using the waterproof material is also disclosed herein. According to the present invention, the waterproof layer can be formed on the surface of a civil engineering works or a building in a short time of about 30 minutes by a few steps without polluting a working environment. Furthermore, the waterproof layer, needless to say, has water resistance, weathering resistance, anticorrosion and substrate adhesion. In addition, it is further excellent in follow-up properties to cracks of the substrate, and walking on the waterproof layer is possible.
