  • Patent number: 10767292
Abstract: A sewing machine of the present embodiment comprises a movement amount detector which detects a movement amount of fabric, a sewing machine motor serving as a rotary drive source of an upper shaft which applies vertical movement to a needle bar, a shaft angle detector which detects a shaft angle of an output shaft of the upper shaft or the sewing machine motor, and a controller which controls the sewing machine motor based on the detection of the movement amount detector and performs controls of maintaining a constant stitch length. The controller performs controls of maintaining the constant stitch length, by a movement amount of the fabric detected by the movement amount detector in a shaft angle section where a sewing needle is not stuck into a cloth, based on the detection by the shaft angle detector.

  • Patent number: 10550503
Abstract: A sewing machine includes a sewing machine motor, a control device and a wearable sensor. The sewing machine motor is a vertical movement driving source of a needle bar. The control device controls the sewing machine motor such that a sewing pitch is set to be a predetermined value. The wearable sensor is attached on a body of an operator of the sewing machine to detect a moving amount of an attached portion of the wearable sensor. The control device controls the sewing machine motor based on the moving amount of the attached portion detected by the wearable sensor such that the sewing pitch is set to be the predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 10472752
Abstract: A sewing machine including a detection portion that detects a movement amount of a workpiece, a sewing machine motor that serves as a driving source for vertical movement of a needle bar, and a control device that controls the sewing machine motor based on the detection result by the detection portion and performs control to maintain a constant stitch pitch. The control device lengthens a period for obtaining an output of the detection portion when the movement amount of the workpiece per unit time based on the detection result by the detection portion is decreased, and shortens the period for obtaining the output of the detection portion when the movement amount of the workpiece per unit time based on the detection result by the detection portion is increased.
