  • Publication number: 20090021060
Abstract: Projections capable of crushing a rear windowpane upon crash of a vehicle are arranged on a back of a stay embedded in a pad of a headrest. Thus, when the headrest strongly hits the rear windowpane upon crash of the vehicle, the rear windowpane is crushed by the projections in the form of metal pieces on upper rear portions of vertical stay portions of the stay, so that great impact is prevented from being applied on a head of an occupant.

  • Publication number: 20060050967
Abstract: A proofreading support system includes an image input section, an average-density derivation section, and an image comparison section. The average-density derivation section partitions an output sample and a proof into the same number of partitions both longitudinally and laterally, and derives the average density for each block obtained by the partition from output-sample data and proof data. The image comparison section compares the distributions of the average densities within an image between the output sample and the proof, and based on comparison results, outputs information about differences between the output sample and the proof as check results.

  • Publication number: 20060044583
Abstract: Correction instruction data is acquired by scanning a proof with an image scanner. Differential processing is performed between the correction instruction data and rasterized data for extracting differential data. The differential data is layered with unproofread printing data. A plurality of blocks are generated by virtually dividing a correction object layer in a latticelike manner. Upon acquisition of layered data and area division data, printing data is corrected according to a correction instruction described in a differential layer. At this time, correction history data is recorded in association with a block related to correction. Thus, correction history can be confirmed and re-corrected in units of blocks while employment/nonemployment of correction in each correction processing unit can be selected. First differential data is obtained as a differential between data prepared by rasterizing uncorrected and corrected printing data respectively.

  • Patent number: 4123896
Abstract: A digital electronic timepiece has normal time counting means and also a different time counting means, for example for local time in a different time zone or country. Electronic switching is provided for selectively displaying either the normal time or the different time. Each of the time counting means includes up-counting means and down-counting means so that under the control of corresponding setting means the time of either the normal time counting means or the different time counting means can be amended either upwardly or downwardly.

  • Patent number: 4104864
Abstract: An electronic timepiece comprising in combination: the first and secondary time counters, each having the function of 2, 4 hour measuring, which measures the signal of frequency which will be the basis for time measurement; the chronograph, having the function of 24 hour measuring to make the time measurement by measuring the signal of frequency which will be the basis for the above mentioned time measurement; and the display selecting circuit for displaying each enumerated data of the above mentioned first and secondary time counters and the chronograph selectively by the display device.
