    Abstract: The invention relates to an insulator for a suspension device having a coil spring and a spring seat for supporting the coil spring. The insulator is provided between the coil spring and the spring seat and comprises at least an annular seat groove in which a coil end of the coil spring is seated. The insulator comprises at least an adjustment recess formed in the insulator along the seat groove so as to open at a wall surface of the insulator where the seat groove opens. The adjustment recess is configured to allow the seat groove to be deformed to increase a radial groove width between inner and outer edge ends of the seat groove when the coil end enters into the seat groove.
