  • Patent number: 6628038
Abstract: A disklike rotor is placed with air gaps between disklike stators. The disklike rotor has a sheet coil attached to its sides, on which are formed the secondary coil pattern of a rotary transformer and a resolver excitation phase pattern. A sheet coil having the secondary coil pattern of the rotary transformer is attached to the stator opposed to the secondary coil pattern on the rotor, while a sheet coil having a resolver detection phase pattern is attached to the stator opposed to the resolver excitation phase pattern on the rotor. This resolver using a sheet coil is inexpensive and small-sized, decreases angular errors, and avoids the decrease in detection voltage. The variation in amplitude of flux linkage can be limited if there is misalignment of a sheet coil.

  • Patent number: 4967120
Abstract: In an electron gun assembly of an in-line type, electron beams emitted from cathode pass through first, second and third grid electrodes and are accelerated and controlled by the electrodes. The accelerated and controlled electron beams are converged by a fourth grid electrode structure and are also focused on the phosphor screen by fifth and sixth grid electrodes. The fourth grid electrode structure is comprised of first to third electrode segments having apertures through which electron beams pass. The first and third electrode segments is maintained at a variable potential which is varied in accordance with a deflection of the electron beams and the second electrode segment is maintained at a constant potential.

  • Patent number: 4719378
Abstract: In a brushless motor, the number of magnetic poles P and the number of salient poles S are identified by:P=2.times.(m.times.k+l)S=2.times.m.times.kwherein m represents the number of phases and k represents an integer greater than 2. The windings wound about the k adjoining salient poles are made to belong to the same phase, but adjacent poles are oppositely wound.
