  • Patent number: 9371301
Abstract: A compound represented by the general formula (C): (wherein R101 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, R102, R103, R104 and R105 may be the same or different, and each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or a haloalkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R106 represents a hydrogen atom, or a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group which is a straight or branched chain having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, but excluded is the case where R101 is a 3-furyl group, R102, R103, R104 and R105 are all methyl groups, and R106 is a methyl group, a 4-methyl-3-pentenyl group or a 4,8-dimethyl-3,7-nonadienyl group); or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof has selective inhibitory activity on hypoxic cell growth in a broad range of the concentration and therefore is useful as an active ingredient of a medicament for cancer prevention or treatment.

  • Patent number: 5638270
Abstract: An engine control system in which control of an engine can be performed after there has been a momentary power disconnection of a power supply, such as the vechicle battery, from an engine control unit of an electronic circuit which executes an anti-theft function. A power supply detecting circuit detect a connecting of the power supply to the engine control unit. A further circuit determines on the basis of the vehicle speed and the RPM whether or not the vehicle is running. When a connecting of the power supply to the engine control unit is dectected, a determination is made whether or not the power supply connecting has occured after a preceding momentary power disconnection if the further circuit determines that the vehicle is running. The anit-theft function of the electronic circuit is disable when it is determined that there has been a preceding momentary power desconnection.

  • Patent number: 5621381
Abstract: A vehicle anti-theft engine control device enables engine control to be continued even if the data in the memory, wherein an ID code checking result has been stored, incurs "bit change" due to noise or the like, causing the data to change into data prohibiting engine control. The control device comprises a plurality of engine start enable flags for storing information on the enable/disable state of the engine control, enable flag registering means for registering "1" (enable) in all flags in response to a start permit signal, re-registering means for registering again, when "1" has been registered in at least one of the flags, "1" (enable) in all other enable flags, and control enabling means for enabling the engine control in accordance with the registered/reregistered enable flag.

  • Patent number: 4932380
Abstract: A fuel injection controller for an internal combustion engine includes a control pulse generator which generates a pulse with each rotation of the crankshaft. An operating condition discriminator determines the operating condition of the engine. An electronic control unit changes from sequential fuel injection to simultaneous fuel injection without degradation of engine performance. An ignition controller has first, and third pulse generators generating pulses with rotation of the crankshaft and camshaft, respectively, and a second pulse generator pulsing at a phase angle with respect to the crankshaft. An ignition timer controls ignition timing based on the pulses from the first and second pulse generators, and a fuel injection timer controls fuel injection based on the pulses from the first and third pulse generators.
