    Abstract: There are provided an electronic device that enables a user to perform handwriting input in one-subject display of a content and to call, from an item, a one-subject display screen of the item to which handwriting is added, and a control method of the electronic device. Electronic device includes input keys, a touch panel, a display, a ROM storing a content database, a hard disk, and a CPU. Display is a sensor-incorporated display that can accept the handwriting input. CPU searches the item from content database, based on an instruction. CPU displays an item display screen based on the searched item on display. CPU displays, on display, handwritten expression corresponding to the handwriting input so as to superimpose the same on the item display screen. CPU stores the handwritten expression in hard disk as handwritten memo data.
