  • Patent number: 12280617
Abstract: A pneumatic tire includes sipes disposed in a land portion formed in a tread portion, and pin holes for stud pins disposed in the land portion. The sipes are disposed at positions where a distance Ds from the pin hole and a diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)?4.0. A sipe in which the distance Ds from the pin hole and the diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)?5.0 is defined as a pin hole neighboring sipe. A sipe of which the distance Ds from the pin hole is the smallest, among the sipes in which the distance Ds from the pin hole and the diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)>5.0, is defined as a normal sipe. The pin hole neighboring sipe is formed in a high rigidity shape having higher rigidity than the normal sipe.

  • Patent number: 12030270
Abstract: A tire molding die includes sectors separated from one another in a tire circumferential direction, and sipe blades disposed on tread molding surfaces of the sectors, the sipe blades are disposed repeatedly in the tire circumferential direction in a repeating pattern corresponding to a predetermined arrangement pattern, and a near sipe blade that is included in sipe blades disposed in one of the sectors and that is a sipe blade closest to a division position between the sectors is more rigid than an original shape blade corresponding to the sipe blade provided in the repeating pattern differing from the repeating pattern including the near sipe blade at a position identical to a position of the near sipe blade in the repeating pattern including the near sipe blade.

  • Publication number: 20230241924
Abstract: A tire including, in a tread surface (12), a plurality of shoulder main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction, a plurality of lug grooves (351) extending in a direction intersecting the shoulder main groove, and a plurality of blocks B defined by the shoulder main grooves and the lug grooves (351). The tread surface (12) of the block B includes circumferential narrow grooves (352) each extending in the tire circumferential direction and a plurality of sipes that are provided on both sides of the circumferential narrow grooves in a tire width direction so as to be separated from the circumferential narrow grooves (352) and are disposed side by side in the tire circumferential direction and extend in the tire width direction. The circumferential narrow groove (352) includes a shallow bottom portion (3521) and a deep bottom portion (3522) having different depths from the tread surface (12).

  • Publication number: 20230139566
Abstract: A tire includes a main groove extending in a circumferential direction, a lug groove extending in a width direction, a land portion defined by the main groove and the lug groove, and a sipe that is a narrow groove that is formed in the land portion, extends in the width direction, and includes an end opening to the main groove. The lug groove includes a raised bottom portion formed in a central region of the land portion in the width direction. The sipe includes shallow and deep bottom portions having different depths from a tread contact surface. A deep bottom portion depth from the tread contact surface is greater than a shallow bottom portion depth and includes at least a part disposed in the central region. The raised bottom portion and the deep bottom portion are disposed overlapping each other in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 10994574
Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprises main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction. Grooves in vehicle inner and outer side center land portions are all narrow grooves. Vehicle inner side center land portion narrow grooves open to a vehicle center main groove at a first end, open to a vehicle inner side main groove at a second end, and bend in a tire circumferential direction. The narrow grooves in the vehicle outer side center land portion comprise vehicle outer side center land portion outer narrow grooves that open to a vehicle outer side main groove at a first end and terminate within the vehicle outer side center land portion at a second end and vehicle outer side center land portion inner narrow grooves that open to the vehicle center main groove at a first end and terminate within the vehicle outer side center land portion at the second end.
