  • Patent number: 9186803
Abstract: An electric shaver includes an outer blade having blade holes defined by a frame, and an inner blade provided inside the outer blade to move relative to the outer blade and cut body hair inserted into the blade holes. Circumferences of the blade holes of the frame are bent toward the inner blade so as to provide hair lifting portions having rounded portions in the frame, and the frame provided with the hair lifting portions is located closer to a skin than to a surface of the inner blade on a skin side.

  • Publication number: 20100293044
Abstract: In the case of deciding that a state of a communication band becomes insufficient in the sending side in a streaming system for delivering the contents and advertisement information, it is constructed so that the advertisement information suitable for the state can be selected and transmitted and also it can cope by changing a display method of the contents and the advertisement information in the receiving side. In the sending side, a method for creating transmitting data is changed according to a state of a communication channel. When there is a sufficient band in the communication channel, the transmitting data in which advertisement is inserted between divided pieces of information is generated and when the communication band is insufficient, the data in which the way of insertion is changed, for example, frequency of insertion of the advertisement information is shifted or only character information is inserted is generated.

  • Publication number: 20090320296
Abstract: A hair trimmer blade unit includes a stationary blade and a movable blade, which includes movable blade pieces. Each movable blade piece includes a basal blade edge portion and a distal catch portion. The basal blade edge portion extends along a line inclined so that as the distal end of the movable blade piece become closer, the distance from the adjacent movable blade piece increases. The distal catch portion extends toward the adjacent movable blade piece from the line. The blade edge of each movable blade piece includes a saw-toothed portion formed so that as the distal end of the corresponding movable blade piece becomes closer, the distance from the adjacent movable blade pieces decreases in plural steps.

  • Patent number: 7124511
Abstract: A razor blade is provided, which achieves improved safety in use and reduced cutting resistance to an object to be cut such as beard and hair, as compared with conventional razor blades. This razor blade can be obtained by using, as a silicon thin sheet, a single crystal silicon material such as Si wafer or a polycrystalline silicon material including relatively large silicon crystal grains, forming at least one opening in the silicon thin sheet by chemical etching, and forming a cutting edge made of silicon single crystal by ion beam etching without machining such that the cutting edge projects into the opening and has a nose radius of 0.5 ?m or less, and preferably 0.1 ?m or less.

  • Patent number: 7022195
Abstract: An inner cutter for a dry shaver is fabricated from a metal plate to have a plurality of blades each provided with cutting edges. The metal plate includes a plurality of parallel straight slits to leave an array of straight beams each defined between the adjacent ones of the slits. The beams are forged and ground at a segment of each beam to give the cutting edges thereto. After making the cutting edges, the metal plate is bent into a generally U-shaped configuration so as to correspondingly curve the beams and shape the beams into the blades having the arcuate contour and the cutting edges. The metal plate is provided with a joint for connection with a driving source of moving the inner cutter relative to an outer cutter.
