  • Publication number: 20210079923
Abstract: An electric blower includes a fan, an electric motor, a motor holder, and a fan casing. The fan casing includes a facing wall and the motor holder includes an extending portion overlapping with the facing wall in an axial direction. The facing wall and the extending portion include attachment portions that connect the motor holder to the fan casing and non-attachment portions between the attachment portions. Either one of the facing portion and the extending portion includes an annular protrusion. The other includes an annular fitting recess into which the annular protrusion is fit. A contacting load is defined by a load applied to the annular protrusion and the annular fitting recess in the axial direction or an intersecting direction intersecting the axial direction. At least one of the non-attachment portions receives the contacting load that is greater than the contacting load applied to each of the attachment portions.

  • Patent number: 9247668
Abstract: A power converter includes a converter casing made of an assembly of a first case body and a second case body. The first case body has a bottom plate. The second case body has a top plate. Side plates are arranged between the top plate and the bottom plate. A capacitor is disposed in the converter casing and includes a capacitor casing and a capacitor device which is sealed with potting resin so as to have a potting surface through which the potting resin is exposed outside the capacitor casing. The capacitor is fixed on the bottom plate with the potting surface oriented perpendicular to a normal direction of the bottom plate. A connector is provided which mechanically connects the bottom plate and the top plate and is located away from the side plates, thereby enhancing the suppression of mechanical vibration of the capacitor on the bottom plate.

  • Publication number: 20140140034
Abstract: A power conversion apparatus includes at least one semiconductor module including a main electrode terminal, a capacitor including at least one capacitor terminal member connected to the main electrode terminal of the semiconductor module, and an apparatus case housing the semiconductor module and the capacitor. The capacitor includes a capacitor body disposed in a capacitor case and shielded by a potting resin, the capacitor terminal member projecting from a potting surface of the capacitor body. The capacitor is fixed to the capacitor case such that the potting surface faces the semiconductor module. The capacitor terminal member is supported by and fixed to a fixing/supporting member fixed to the apparatus case.

  • Patent number: 8590322
Abstract: An oil separator includes a separation part and an oil storage part. The separation part includes a separation cylinder, an inner cylinder disposed in the separation cylinder and an inlet pipe connecting to the separation cylinder tangential to an inner surface of the separation cylinder. The separation part defines an inlet opening to introduce CO2 refrigerant containing oil in the separation cylinder. The separation cylinder separates the oil from the CO2 refrigerant by means of centrifugal force. A ratio of a flow rate (kg/h) of the CO2 refrigerant flowing in the separation cylinder to an area (mm2) of the inlet opening is at least 4. Alternative to or in addition to the above, a ratio of a distance (mm) from an end of the inner cylinder to a bottom wall of the separation cylinder to an inner diameter (mm) of the separation cylinder is at least 2.5.
