  • Publication number: 20150311729
Abstract: There is provided a charging device which can rapidly charge, with a single charger, portable devices of a plurality of charging specifications. A plurality of available power indicating circuits included in a USB module 10 notify, through a data line, a portable device coupled to the charging device of a signal indicating suppliable amount of current. A CPU 4 obtains, from a portable device coupled thereto, information identifying the portable device, at the time of adjustment. A memory 6 has a table stored therein, for a plurality of portable devices, defining a correspondence between information identifying a portable device and an available power indicating circuit. Referring to the table based on the obtained information, the CPU 4 selects an available power indicating circuit and, at the time of actual operation, activates only the selected available power indicating circuit.

  • Patent number: 5506553
Abstract: One example of a high-frequency filter includes a dielectric substrate having a high dielectric constant. On one whole main face of the dielectric substrate, an earth electrode is formed. On the other main face of the dielectric substrate, two pattern electrodes are formed. The pattern electrodes have first parts formed in parallel at an interval, and second parts extended in crossing (non-parallel) directions. Also, on one main face of the dielectric substrate, input-output electrodes are respectively formed near the end parts of the pattern electrodes, and capacitors are respectively formed between the open end parts and the input-output electrodes.

  • Patent number: 4094151
Abstract: The ground surrounding a liquified gas storing underground tank is excavated into a form of a columnar cavity or wall shaped cavity, and then a synthetic resin bag or envelope is placed therein, after which granular materials such as sand or gravel is filled therein, thus forming a water permeable body of a columnar shape or wall-like shape. Then, water is injected into the water permeable body from its bottom and then discharged from the top of the body, thereby warming the peripheral ground of the underground tank for preventing freezing thereof. An apparatus for preventing the freezing of a liquified gas storing underground tank is also disclosed, which includes water feeding and discharging devices provided for the aforesaid water permeable body.
