  • Publication number: 20110160477
Abstract: An ?-trifluoromethyl-?,?-unsaturated ester can be produced by reacting an ?-trifluoromethyl-?-hydroxy ester with sulfuryl fluoride (SO2F2) in the presence of an organic base. It is preferable that the raw substrate has a hydrogen atom as one ?-position substituent group and either an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a substituted alkenyl group, an aromatic ring group or a substituted aromatic ring group as the other ?-position substituent group. It is more preferable that an ester moiety of the raw substrate is an alkyl ester. This raw substrate is readily available. Further, the desired reaction can proceed favorably with the use of this raw substrate. It is also preferable to use either 1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]non-5-ene (DBN) or 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) as the organic base. The desired reaction can proceed more favorably with the use of this organic base.

  • Publication number: 20110152536
Abstract: ?-Trifluoromethyl-?-substituted-?-amino acids can be produced by allowing ?-trifluoromethyl-?-substituted-?,?-unsaturated esters to react with hydroxylamine to convert ?-trifluoromethyl-?-substituted-?,?-unsaturated esters into dehydrogenated closed-ring body of ?-trifluoromethyl-?-substituted-?-amino acid, and by hydrogenolyzing the dehydrogenated closed-ring body. According to this production process, novel ?-trifluoromethyl-?-substituted-?-amino acids which are free amino acids whose functional groups are not protected can be produced, in which ?-position substituent is not limited to aromatic ring group or substituted aromatic ring group while the relative stereochemistry of ?-position and ?-position can be also controlled.

  • Publication number: 20110032185
Abstract: To provide an input apparatus, a control apparatus, a control system, and a control method that are capable of restricting a movement of a pointer on a screen by a user operation even while the input apparatus is moving. In a state where a movement button is not pressed by a user, an MPU of an input apparatus is not outputting a movement command or is outputting a movement command with a displacement amount set to 0. In other words, even when the user holds the input apparatus and moves it, a pointer does not move on a screen. As a result, a movement of the pointer unintended by the user can be restricted. When the movement button is pressed, that is, when a first operation signal is input via a first switch, the MPU starts outputting the movement command. By receiving the movement command, an MPU of a control apparatus controls display of the pointer so as to start the movement of the pointer that corresponds to the movement command.

  • Publication number: 20110015428
Abstract: By reacting a ?-hydroxy-?-amino acid with sulfuryl fluoride (SO2F2) in the presence of an organic base, it is possible to produce an ?-fluoro-?-amino acid of the formula [2]. By using a C8-12 tertiary amine having two or more alkyl groups of C3 or higher, and especially diisopropylethylamine, as the organic base, by-production of quantery ammonium salts is effectively suppressed. By applying the production process of the present invention, it is possible to very easily produce (2R)-3-(dibenzylamino)-2-fluoropropionic acid methyl ester, which is extremely important as a pharmaceutical intermediate, with high positional selectivity even on an industrial scale.

  • Publication number: 20100265175
Abstract: [Object] To provide a control apparatus, an input apparatus, a control system, a control method, and a handheld apparatus that are capable of preventing a deviation between a display position of a pointer and a relative position of the input apparatus when the input apparatus is moved out of a screen from an end portion of the screen, and with which a user can obtain an intuitional operational feeling. [Solving Means] Not only on a real screen (95) but also on a virtual screen (105) set around the real screen (95), coordinates of a virtual pointer (2?) are generated and stored. Accordingly, by moving an input apparatus (1) only by an amount that the input apparatus has moved outside the real screen (95), in an opposite direction, for example, a user can resume a movement of a pointer (2) that has reached a boundary line of the real screen (95), on the real screen (95).

  • Publication number: 20100208106
Abstract: An image processing device includes: a coordinate conversion unit (142) which calculates a corresponding sampling coordinate on a color mosaic image corresponding to a pixel position of a color image when a deformation process is performed, according to the pixel position of the color image; a sampling unit (143); a sampling unit (143) which interpolates-generates a pixel value in a sampling coordinate for each of color planes obtained by decomposing the color mosaic image; and a color generation unit (144) which generates a color image by synthesizing interpolation values of the respective color planes. Each pixel value of a color image subjected to a deformation process is obtained as a pixel value of the sampling coordinate from the color mosaic image by interpolation calculation, thereby realizing the color interpolation process for generating a color image from the color mosaic image and a deformation process of the color image by one interpolation calculation.

  • Publication number: 20100201619
Abstract: An input apparatus, a control apparatus, a control system, a control method, and a handheld apparatus with which a user can easily control a movement and stop of a pointer displayed on a screen are provided. An input apparatus includes a sensor unit for detecting a movement of a casing and a button. An MPU outputs a determination code when a press of the button is released within a first time period. On the other hand, when the button is pressed and held for a time period equal to or longer than a first time period, a movement command is output from after an elapse of the first time period. Accordingly, the button is provided with a function corresponding to a determination input button and a function corresponding to an input button for controlling a movement and stop of a pointer, for example. As a result, a user can easily control the movement and stop of the pointer without mixing up an input operation for moving and stopping the pointer with other input operations.

  • Patent number: 7728685
Abstract: A temperature detection circuit (18) detects temperature around an oscillation circuit (20) equipped with voltage variable capacitors (23, 24). According to its temperature detection signal, a temperature compensation circuit (30) produces a voltage signal as a temperature compensation signal. That voltage signal is supplied to the voltage variable capacitors (23, 24) in order to sustain oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit (20) at a substantially constant level. When a switch element (1) is, turned on by a non-TCXO signal, both terminals of each voltage variable capacitor (23, 24) are brought to the same potential (ground potential). Consequently, each voltage variable capacitor has a predetermined capacitance and temperature compensation function is made ineffective. In that state, initial frequency regulation is performed under normal temperature.

  • Publication number: 20090169126
Abstract: An optical low pass filter (2) is formed, for example, by a birefringent plate so as to control the light beam separation width, thereby changing the cut-off frequency according to an imaging mode. The number of pixels of an imaging element (5) is set greater than the number of pixels corresponding to the dynamic image display resolution. In a still image capturing mode, the light beam separation width is set narrower so that the resolution of the imaging element (5) can be used as it is while suppressing generation of a false color to a certain degree. On the other hand, in a dynamic image capturing mode, the light beam separation width is set wider so that a high-frequency component corresponding to an unnecessary resolution component for an output image signal can be cut off and suppression of the false color can be performed strongly as compared to the still image capturing mode.
