  • Patent number: 5773536
Abstract: A structure of a microporous resin bonded to metal is prepared by a method, comprising, molding a resin composition comprising a polymer alloy consisting of polyether imide and polyphenylene ether and particles of aluminum borate or amorphous silica filler, wherein the particles of aluminum borate and amorphous silica have an aspect ratio of 10 or less and an average diameter of 0.01-100 .mu.m, the aluminum borate having the formula: nAl.sub.2 O.sub.3.mB.sub.2 O.sub.3, wherein n and m individually represent an integer of 1-100, and the amorphous silica having the formula: SiO.sub.2, into a shaped object, treating the molded resin composition with an aqueous alkaline solution to remove the filler, thereby creating micropores within the resin object, and depositing a metal film on a surface of the treated resin object.

  • Patent number: 5530047
Abstract: A polymer composition for electrical part material comprising, (I) a polymer blend which comprises (A) at least one polymer selected from specific types of polyether imides and polyesters, and (B) at least one polymer selected from specific types of polyphenylene ethers, polyolefins, and polycarbonates, and (II) a copolymer of maleic anhydride and vinyl type compound or (II') an epoxy-modified styrene-type copolymer. The composition has excellent compatibility, heat resistance, mechanical characteristics, platability, moldability, and electric characteristics. It is an ideal material for use as an electrical part material due to its low dielectric constant and low dielectric dissipation factor at high frequency.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4430717
Abstract: In a numerically-controlled machine tool having a tool magazine accommodating tools in the pots, display means capable of rewriting tool numbers in correspondence to the pots is provided, and the positions where the tool numbers are stored are successively shifted in a memory in response to instruction signals applied from the machine tool side in response to the selection or exchange of the tools, so that the display of the tool numbers of the tools in the magazine is changed in synchronization with the tool displacement.
