The speaker system includes: a hollow framework member extending in a front-back direction of a vehicle; and a speaker unit installed such that an internal space of the framework member is usable as a back cavity. The framework member has a partition member at at least one end of the internal space, and spatial path lengths from the speaker unit to both longitudinal ends of the internal space are substantially the same.

Abstract: A speaker apparatus includes a pair of speakers and a connecting member. The pair of speakers is arranged in an interior of a structure protruding into an interior space of a vehicle. The pair of speakers has respective diaphragms facing the interior space of the vehicle and that are directed in opposite directions from each other. The pair of speakers has back surfaces that face each other. The connecting member inter-connects respective drivers of the pair of speakers and is connected to back surface sides of the drivers.

Abstract: A portable communication device has a main unit having a display and a keypad unit, which are engaged so as to slide longitudinally with the displaying area of the display changing in size. A position detector detects a position of the main unit relative to the keypad unit by determining which one of a plurality of predetermined positions is the position of the main unit. The information to be displayed is processed depending on the position of the main unit so that the information is displayed in the displaying area of the display.

Permission data for outgoing call control and protection of personal data is entered in the lost mobile phone. When they match each other, the personal data pulled out of the lost mobile phone is stored in the personal computer.
