Abstract: A thermal transfer recording sheet comprising a substrate having thereon a colorant layer, the colorant layer comprising a binder and a pyridone-type azo dyestuff represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 2 or more carbon atoms, a substituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an allyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group is disclosed. A thermal transfer recording ink composition for use in forming the colorant layer on a substrate is also disclosed.

Abstract: A thermal transfer recording sheet comprising a base film, a heat transferable ink layer formed on one side of the base film and a heat resistant lubricating layer formed on the other side of the base film, wherein said heat resistant lubricating layer comprises round particles, fine particles having a particle size smaller than that of the round particles and a heat resistant binder resin, as the main components, and the round particles are projecting from the standard surface of the heat resistant lubricating layer.

Abstract: A sheet for sublimation transfer recording which is characterized by being composed of a base coated with an ink for sublimation heat-sensitive transfer and further coated with a heat-resistant resin such as a water-soluble cellulose type derivative, e.g., methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose or hydroxybutylmethyl cellulose. The obtained recording has good definition and shows no abrasion staining in the non-printed part of the image receiving body, and peeling-off of the recording sheet from the image receiving body is easy.

Abstract: 1,4-Dihydropyridine compounds having excellent coronary and vertebral vasodilation, blood pressure depression and anti-hypertensive activities are disclosed. These compounds are low toxic and stable to light, and are very useful for pharmaceutical agents.
