  • Patent number: 6145009
Abstract: When inexecutable event occurs, an event format conversion rules table is referred to in order to convert the format of the event, then the communication message including the converted event is transmitted through a network. If the communication message is received through the network, the converted event is re-converted into an event that has an executable format by referring to the event format conversion rules table. An event filter refers to an event filter table that has processing necessity information for each event and sends only an event that needs to be processed to an event processing portion. Even if the local system cannot execute an event, the event is transmitted to another system through a communicating portion.

  • Patent number: 5927139
Abstract: There is disclosed a hydraulic leakage proof apparatus for a transfer feeder in which a cam box (7a) containing a cam (8a) and a lever (9) that is oscillated by the cam is placed on or above a press machine (1). The cam box (7a) is formed through its bottom with an elongate opening (7b) through which the lever (9) may pass by a lower end side thereof. The apparatus includes a lower movable cover (16) operatively coupled to the lever (9) and facing downwards so as to cover the elongate opening (7b) while being displaced as the lever (9) is oscillated. The lower movable cover (16) has a lever through-going opening (16b) formed therein through which the lever (9) may pass. The apparatus further includes a cover member (22) facing downwards so as to cover the lever through-going opening (16b), and a gate plate (14) arranged on the bottom of the cam box (7a) and formed with a rising portion (14a) along an inner peripheral edge of the elongate opening (7b).

  • Patent number: 5799191
Abstract: A scheme for supporting cooperative works capable of reproducing the contents of the past works from the recorded history of the cooperative works accurately, such that the cooperative works can be carried out efficiently and smoothly. In this scheme, the inputs made by each user during the cooperative works are stored in correspondence to input target data indicating input target applications of the inputs as a record of the cooperative works. Then, afterwards, the input target applications indicated by the input target data are re-executed according to the stored inputs to reproduce results of the cooperative works resulting from the inputs which can be presented to each user.

  • Patent number: 4999786
Abstract: A method and apparatus for making an inference using frame-based knowledge representation in which each slot is accompanied by information regarding a quantitative correspondence between its slot value and the frame to which it belongs. This makes an accurate comprehension of what can be inherited possible so an inference can be carried out with consistent accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4964064
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for constraint-oriented inference provides improved knowledge base formation efficiency and an ability to maintain consistency among slots. Constraints indicating relationships among slot values of frames are stored collectively, pointers which make the constraints accessible by relevant slots are attached automatically, and the constraints are simplified by inserting slot values determined by processes of inference.

  • Patent number: 4905982
Abstract: A double-blank detecting apparatus for use in a destacker and comprises a plurality of rows of fixtures. Each row of fixtures is parallel with the direction of conveyance of blanks and includes a plurality of fixtures. Each fixture is mounted on the frame of the destacker in such a manner that it can be moved up and down by means of a lift cylinder. The double-blank detecting apparatus further has an attractor mounted on the fixtures, and a plurality of rows of conveyor having attracting functions which extend in parallel relationship with one another and with the direction of conveyance of blanks and mounted between the rows of fixtures. Further, each fixture in at least any one of the rows has a contact type sensor mounted thereon so that it can be moved up and down freely relative to the blanks having been attracted by the attractor.

  • Patent number: 4703443
Abstract: A device for measuring the shape of a three-dimensional object comprises a movable arm composed of a plurality of movable arm members and a probe coupled to a forward end of the movable arm by a universal joint. At each of the movable arm members and probe, there is provided an angle-of-rotation encoder for detecting the angle of rotation. In order to measure the shape of the three-dimensional object with a lesser number of measuring times, the probe has a flat surface portion at its forward end which contacts the object. A calculating section calculates the direction of the flat surface portion of the probe in contact with the object, on the basis of the information from the angle-of-rotation encoders and the known information on dimensions of the movable arm, to thereby determine a tangent plane of the object at a contact point between the flat surface portion and the object, and determines the shape of the object from a plurality of tangent planes at the contact points.
