  • Patent number: 6165289
Abstract: A water-resistant and long-life rolling bearing used in an environment involving water's seeping in the lubricant thereof, wherein at least one of the inner race, the outer race, and the rolling member is formed of alloy steel containing 0.05 to 0.60% by weight of Cu, 0.10 to 1.10% by weight of C, and 0 to 0.2% by weight of Nb or V. The alloy steel has functions of reducing hydrogen evolution on the surface thereof and of forming a film hardly permeable to hydrogen thereby to retard occurrence of flaking due to hydrogen-induced brittleness.

  • Patent number: 5997661
Abstract: A rotating shaft 4 is attached to an inner race 1, and an outer race 2 is fixed to a housing 5 so that the bearing is operated by the rotation of the rotating shaft 4. In this case, the inner race 1 is made to be the race on the rotating side, and the outer race 2 is made to be the race on the non-rotating side. The raw material composing the inner race 1, outer race 2 and rollers 3 is manufactured from alloy steel containing 4.5 weight % or less of Ni, and 0.5 weight % or less of Cu, and the average value of the Cu equivalent of the rollers 3 and the inner race 1 is set at a value higher than the Cu equivalent of the outer race 2. Thus, even in humid environments where water infiltrates into the lubricant, it is possible to make the rolling bearing have the same durable life as with rolling bearings which are used in normal environments.

  • Patent number: 5875244
Abstract: A transmission apparatus for relaying different types of trunk signals, including a central processing unit including a reception counter processor which is inserted between a pair of exchanges and enables direct relay of exchange trunk signals (Sxt) and analog trunk signals (Sem) of a pulse ear and mouth (E&M) mode on a radio transmission line by counting the pulse width of the signals (Sem) and determining their type, a transmission counter processor which transmits the pulse E&M signals until the count of the pulse width inherent to the signals Sem corresponding to the signals Sxt is finished, and a logical operation unit which generates the corresponding signals Sxt based on the result of determination of the reception counter processor and drives the transmission counter processor based on the input signals Sxt, whereby it is possible to give an existing digital transmission apparatus handling E&M signals a function corresponding to a conventional higher rank exchange.

  • Patent number: 5630668
Abstract: A rolling bearing includes an outer raceway, an inner raceway, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the outer raceway and the inner raceway, and a cage for holding the rolling elements away from each other at the same interval in a rolling direction of the rolling elements, the cage including a first layer subjected to a surface treatment of at least one of carbonitriding, phosphating, sulfonitriding and gas soft nitfriding, and a second layer formed of at least one of PTFE, MoS.sub.2, WS.sub.2, Ag and Sn when the first layer includes a treated surface subjected to the surface treatment of phosphating. The rolling bearing can stabilize the attitude of the rolling elements and retain the ease of grinding them. At the same time, the dynamic torque of the rolling elements can be minimized while insuring to prevent the rolling elements from falling away from the cage.

  • Patent number: 5400321
Abstract: A central monitoring system of a multiplex subscriber loop carrier has a remote terminal which includes a first subscriber line tester for testing first subscriber lines connected to subscriber terminals so as to detect a fault on a first subscriber line and outputting an alarm if the fault is detected. A central office terminal is connected to the remote terminal via a carrier line and to a local switch via second subscriber lines. The central office terminal includes a dummy fault generating circuit which represents the fault. Upon receiving the alarm via the carrier line, the dummy fault generating circuit is connected via a transfer switch to one of the second subscriber lines which corresponds to the first subscriber line having the fault thereon.

  • Patent number: 5129739
Abstract: A bearing with dynamic pressure grooves includes an outer cylinder made of a metal and a resin sheet bonded to the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder. The resin sheet is made of a thermoplastic resin, for example, a polytetra fluoroethylene, as a main component mixed with a wear-resistant improving material, for example, graphite or the like. The resin sheet is formed with a pattern of dynamic pressure generating grooves formed in an inner surface by plastic work. The pattern of grooves is varied depending on the types of relative movement between the outer cylinder and a shaft body, i.e., whether an axial linear movement, a rotational movement, or a spiral movement.
