  • Patent number: 5881616
Abstract: A cam mounting gear having a number of teeth smaller by one than the number of teeth of a main gear which is driven to rotate is disposed in parallel to the main gear, and a cam having a tapered face formed thereon such that the thickness thereof gradually increases along an inner periphery thereof is disposed on an inner wall of the cam mounting gear. A main holder having a cutter blade and a bearing which contacts with the cam is supported for rotation on a flat face portion of the main gear. As rotation of the main gear is transmitted to the cam mounting gear via a pinion, the bearing of the main holder is driven to roll on the tapered face of the cam, and thereupon, the cutter blade is displaced in a direction toward the center of the apparatus to cut a cutting object pipe located at a central location of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5590596
Abstract: A printer system prints a given pattern of viscous conductive ink on a base board with the aid of a screen plate. The system has a printer device which moves horizontally when carrying out printing. The printer device includes two spaced side walls. Two stationary parallel rails extend horizontally to respectively support, through the screen plate, the side walls of the printer device during the horizontal movement of the printer device. The screen plate is tightly placed on the rails. A supporting device is employed for stationarily supporting the base board under the screen plate.

  • Patent number: 5577875
Abstract: A transporter for carrying on a surface an object having a center of gravity, the transporter including a first arm having a longitudinal center line which is arranged to lift the object; a second arm operatively connected to the first arm at one end thereof; a wheel rotatably mounted to the second arm, the wheel having an axis of rotation, the first arm being disposed relative to the wheel so that the longitudinal center line of the first arm intersects the axis of the wheel; a sensor for sensing a variation of an inclination angle of the second arm relative to the surface; and a drive mechanism, connect to the sensor, for driving the first arm, the sensor controlling the drive mechanism such that the drive mechanism moves the first arm in response to the sensed variation of the inclination angle of the second arm relative to the surface so as to maintain the center of gravity of the object above the axis of the wheel regardless of the inclination of the second arm relative to the surface.

  • Patent number: 5309837
Abstract: A method for printing solder paste onto a surface of a printed circuit board through the medium of a screen having openings. The method includes feeding the paste into a chamber of a dispenser, dispensing the paste contained in the chamber onto a first side of the screen and onto the surface of the board from the dispenser through a slit-like aperture, removing paste residue from the first side of the screen by a blade extending from a first cleaning apparatus, removing paste residue from a second side of the screen by another blade extending from a second cleaning apparatus, and sucking and transporting the paste residue adhered to inner peripheral surfaces of openings in the screen as well as the paste residue being removed from the second side of the screen by a vacuum device connected to the second cleaning apparatus. The slit-like aperture of the dispenser is formed by a fixed front wall and a moveable rear wall selectively moving toward and away from the fixed front wall.
