The automated analyzer analyzes a mixed liquid of the reagent and the specimen, being held in a reaction cell. At the dispensing mechanisms, stop positions of the nozzles are set. The dispensing mechanisms each include an imaging device disposed on the dispensing arms. The automated analyzer control unit takes images of the nozzles, using the imaging device, at imaging positions of the nozzles.
