  • Publication number: 20030166616
Abstract: Excellent tachykinin receptor antagonistic activity is provided by 2-phenylpiperazine derivatives. The piperazine derivatives exhibit a strong inhibitory action against a tachykinin-induced increase of vascular permeability in in vivo tests. Moreover, the derivatives show a preferred transfer into blood, a long half-life in blood in pharmacokinetic tests of oral administration to rats or guinea pigs, and are very stable in blood plasma of various animals. Consequently, a piperazine derivative of the present invention is very useful as a tachykinin antagonist.

  • Publication number: 20030101544
Abstract: A boot band includes a locking hole formed in an outer overlapping portion of a band body, a locking nail formed on an inner overlapping portion, and an ear portion which can be plastically deformed into a shape that decreases the circumferential length of the band body. When being inserted in the locking hole, the locking nail can move between an engaging position to engage with a ridge of the locking hole and a disengaging position to disengage from the ridge. A narrow portion is formed at an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the locking hole to restrain the locking nail from returning from the engaging position to the disengaging position side.

  • Patent number: 6560824
Abstract: A boot-band, of which the ear portion is highly rigid, that lowers the prominence of the ear portion. An outer overlap portion and an inner overlap portion are fixed together by inserting hooking claws into holes, with the band-body being curled into the shape of a ring. In a region of the band-body in the circumferential direction is formed an ear portion that has a pair of outwardly prominent leg portions and a bridge portion that connects the leg portions. At the opposite ends of the bridge portion, along a line that is perpendicular to the circumference, are formed rib-like parts that are inwardly bent and between which is formed a dowel portion. The rib-like parts are so arc-shaped that the inward prominence, which protrudes into the ear portion, increases toward the middle of the bridge portion in the clamping direction. The length of the rib-like parts is not long enough for the rib-like parts to reach the curved portions, but is 60% or more of the length of the bridge portion.

  • Publication number: 20030060999
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for thermal analysis, a target region is divided by dividing the geometry of the target object of the thermal analysis into a finite number of finite elements or cells. The thermal analysis on the target region is conducted using the results of the division. A temperature distribution on the target object is obtained from the heat transfer coefficients by a temperature distribution calculating unit. The actual temperatures at specific points are obtained based on temperature distribution obtained by the specific point temperature calculating unit. Differences between the actually obtained temperatures at the specific points and the predetermined target temperatures at the specific points are obtained by a difference calculating/determining unit. If the differences are determined to be out of the prescribed range, the heat transfer coefficients are changed by a heat transfer coefficient updating unit.

Abstract: A label sheet for electrophotography, constituted of a label base member and a separator base member both made of resin film, and an image forming method with use thereof. Difference of thermal shrinkage rates in an MD direction between the label body and the separator of the label sheet after heat treatment for 5 minutes at 150° C. is in the range of −0.3% to 0.1%. Stiffness E·t3, a function of a tensile elasticity rate E (N/mm2) of the separator at 135° C. and thickness t (mm) of the separator at 23° C, 50% R.H., is 0.21 N·mm or more. Occurrences of winding around a fuser and marks of winding are suppressed, curls are small, and toner cracks do not appear even if printed matter is left in conditions of high temperature and high humidity.
