  • Patent number: 9013170
Abstract: The present invention has an object to provide a lightning current detection sensor that has a configuration resistant to high voltage and high current in a lightning strike and has high sensitivity and high resolution. In a lightning current detection sensor 10, an insulation-coated wire 22 wound in multiple turns is collectively covered with a base tape 21 and a cover tape 23. Thus, even when the insulation-coated wire 22 is wound in multiple turns to increase sensitivity, a minute area can be detected to increase resolution. Also, with the base tape 21 and the cover tape 23 covering the insulation-coated wire 22 and also a shield portion 12 made of an insulating material and a gap 40 formed between the shield portion 12 and the coil portion 20, a sufficient shielding property is ensured and detection with high accuracy can be performed against high current and high voltage without capacitative coupling.

  • Publication number: 20040153126
Abstract: To perform a substantially noninvasive treatment by appropriately occluding a feeding artery of uterine myoma, the conditions of the feeding artery of uterine myoma are grasped by using ultrasonic three-dimensional visual display techniques and the irradiation sites of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) are indicated on the display to thereby occlude the feeding artery which feeds nutrition to the uterine myoma.

  • Patent number: 6340108
Abstract: Assuming that the processes of joining, rolling, coiling, etc. of a material is evaluated by a preset speed pattern after the extraction from a heating furnace, the required time is predicted and calculated for both of a preceding material and a following material. At the time when the following material can catch up with the preceding material at an aiming position on the line, the following material is extracted from the heating furnace according to the result of the above prediction calculation. Control is carried out so that both of the preceding material and the following material finish the process at a preset speed. Also, the traveling speed of the following material is controlled according to the position and the speed of the tail edge of the preceding material in a section close to the catch-up position so that a distance between the tail edge of the preceding material and the leading edge of the following material be closed.

  • Patent number: 6137529
Abstract: An apparatus for recognizing a position, a diameter and a width of a cylindrical object such as a coil made of thin steel plate being wound while observed by a TV camera in unmanned manner. The coil is irradiated with laser light while the laser light is moved in the direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the coil. An image data by the laser light is obtained from a difference of image data in the case where the coil is irradiated with the laser light and in the case where the coil is not irradiated with the laser light. The image data is analyzed to obtain data such as the position and the like. In order to improve an S/N ratio of the image data, the difference signal is binarized and then integrated for a frame. Influence of the background light can be minimized and a memory capacity for the image data can be reduced.
