Abstract: An application with a function for inputting feedback incorporated into it is created and presented with the present embodiment. By this means, feedback about the problems in the running of the application may be obtained efficiently. In addition, an application with a function for inputting feedback about the components that define the operations of the application and a function that maintains a correspondence between the feedback descriptions and the components that are the target of the feedback incorporated into it is created by the present embodiment. By this means, the component in the application that the feedback concerns may easily be determined.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a polishing method for polishing the end surface of a wafer by using a polishing tape, wherein the end surface of the wafer is polished in the condition where a polishing liquid containing an oxidizing agent is supplied to the end surface of the wafer.

Abstract: In order to browse a web site by using a browser program running on a computer, a web browser obtains, from a server holding information concerning web sites, the page structure and the attributes for the web pages at the site, and displays them in correlation with each other. Further, the web browser can enable the altering by a user of the display of the page structure and the page attributes, so that in response to user manipulations, the page structure and page attribute display can be dynamically changed. In order to facilitate such an alteration by a user, a GUI (Graphical User Interface) command is provided for changing the page structure and page attribute display.

Abstract: The present invention adds new value to the Web, such as to improve accessibility, while maintaining changes to existing web sites to a minimum. Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for sharing a browser wherein it is not necessary to install a controller for sharing on a computer in advance. More particularly, a collaboration server is provided for accumulating pages to be shared from a Web server retaining original pages. A collaboration server comprises a CachinManager that accumulates pages dynamically generated on the original Web server for sharing, a CommunicationManager that controls sessions such as communication and participation/quitting among NodeManager controlling a browser on each user machine, an ordinary Web server for downloading facilities for implementing sharing of a Web server and an Embedder that embeds in each page a PageManager for controlling pages. The plural user machines to be shared comprise and existing Web browser capable of running Java and Script, and PageManager embedded in each page. Abstract: A group editor has a communication unit, an internal clipboard control unit, a system clipboard control unit, and an internal clipboard. The group editor operates to share the results of input and editing operations among a plurality of computer systems. An operating system clipboard is also provided. The system clipboard and the internal clipboard are linked by the communication unit, internal clipboard control unit, and system clipboard control unit, whereby the user only needs to perform an operation on one clipboard regardless of whether copy and paste between different applications or copy and paste within the same group editor, are performed. Therefore, usability increases, and traffic of the network is decreased.

Abstract: A pointing object display technique that can manipulate a pointing object without the user being aware of a difference in display time between sites in a distributed computing environment is disclosed. It is so designed that with whatever level of time difference the receiver side receives a pointing object is displayed and confirmed using an auxiliary pointing object on the sender's screen and the positional difference on the display is absorbed. In addition, the receiver side predicts the current position of the sender's pointing object by taking the time difference on the display into account and displays a pointing object at the predicted position on the receiver's screen.
