  • Patent number: 11921137
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an anomaly detection apparatus includes a processing circuit configured to calculate a reconstruction error of an input signal being a time-series signal, calculate cycle information indicating cyclic property of the reconstruction error, and determine presence/absence of an anomaly signal in the input signal on the basis of the cycle information or the cycle information and the reconstruction error.

  • Patent number: 5848220
Abstract: A digital video tape recorder with a standard image quality mode that minimizes recording time and a high image quality mode that maximizes image quality is realized using the same hardware for both modes. Compression circuitry is simplified and power requirements are reduced by band limiting an input video signal before the signal is compressed using a bit rate reduction encoder.

  • Patent number: 5604603
Abstract: A digital audio and video signal recording system and method wherein erasure of a channel has no major effect on adjoining audio signals in the case of high density recording. The same channel of audio signals are recorded arranged in blocks in a direction orthogonal to the helical track of the magnetic tape. There is a possibility of the occurrence of error at the two outside tracks due to narrowing of the tracks at the time of editing of a channel, but preferably an outer code is added to enable erasure correction.

  • Patent number: 5561572
Abstract: A tape guide mechanism includes absorbent members retained by a mounting structure so positioned as to absorb lubricant leakage from bearing portions of the tape guide mechanism to outer tape contact surfaces of a roller guide portion of flange portions thereof. The lubricant absorbing members may be mounted at a plurality of locations so as to prevent leakage of lubricant along an inner wall of the cylindrical roller guide portion of the tape guide, leakage along an outer surface of a support shaft of the tape guide, or leakage along inner or outer surfaces of a bearing pressing member provided at ends of the tape guide mechanism adjacent the flange portions thereof.

  • Patent number: 5528438
Abstract: A rotary bead-drum assembly for use in a video tape recorder that makes high-density recording. The assembly comprises a rotating top drum and a stationary bottom drum. Magnetic tape is helically wound on the outer surfaces of the two drums. A plurality of magnetic transducing heads are mounted to the top drum. An upward conical surface is formed on the top drum over the heads to make the elongation coefficient of the lateral extent of the tape uniform.

  • Patent number: 5402291
Abstract: A rotary head drum arrangement which can provide, upon reproduction, an equivalent influence of an impact error at a position of a recording track at which it is influenced by an impact error upon recording. The rotary head drum arrangement comprises a rotary drum, a video recording head pair including a pair of video recording heads, an erasing head pair including an erasing head and a dummy head, an audio recording and reproducing head pair including a pair of audio recording and reproducing heads and a video reproducing head pair including a pair of video reproducing heads. The video recording head pair, erasing head pair, audio recording and reproducing head pair and video reproducing head pair are disposed in an angularly equidistantly spaced relationship from each other on an outer periphery of the rotary drum while the heads thereof are spaced by an equal angular distance from each other.

  • Patent number: 5223995
Abstract: A cassette loading apparatus which eliminates a harness for the electric connection to a cassette insertion detecting switch. The cassette loading apparatus comprises a parallel quadrilateral link mechanism including first and second parallel links and third and fourth parallel links. A connecting pin between the first and third links is mounted on a stationary member on which the cassette insertion detecting switch is mounted. A switch operating element is provided on the third link for operating the cassette insertion detecting switch between on- and off-states. The first and second links have elongated holes formed along the length therein, and fitting pins on an actuating lever are loosely fitted in the elongated holes such that the actuating lever extends in parallel to the third link.
