The image control processing section sends the zoom information to the light control section, simultaneously with sending the zoom information to the camera control section. The image control processing section sends the image processing information including shades and outlines of an image and digital zoom information to the light control section. These pieces of information are used for controlling the light illuminance in stages in the light control section to make the light illuminance appropriate to photography conditions.
