  • Patent number: 7652560
Abstract: A radar device is configured to transmit an electric wave and receives a reflected wave that is generated by a reflection of the electric wave on an object, and to recognize the object is a potential obstacle that is to be hit by the vehicle when a received intensity of the reflected wave thereby is a specified threshold or more. And, the specified threshold has a plurality of preset values. Accordingly, a determination as to whether or not the obstacle detected by the radar device is the potential obstacle to be hit by the vehicle can be accurately made.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 2, 2007
Date of Patent: January 26, 2010
    Assignee: Mazda Motor Corporation
Inventors: Hiroshi Ohmura, Haruki Okazaki, Takuji Oka, Takashi Nakagami, Sei Kobayashi, Masanobu Fukushima, Takashi Terano

  • Patent number: 4857889
Abstract: A liquid-crystal indicator control system for displaying at least two different informations alternatively at predetermined times that includes a temperature detector for detecting the ambient temperature relative to the liquid-crystal indicator. The ambient temperature is compared to a predetermined value and a signal is output when the temperature is less than the predetermined value. Display time is changed from a given predetermined time responsive to the signal indicative of ambient temperature being less than the predetermined value.
