  • Publication number: 20020158741
Abstract: A chip impeder includes a body including a mixture of ferrite powder and a resin. At least one coil electrode is disposed in the body. The ferrite powder and the resin are selected so that the cross point of the impedance in the frequency-impedance characteristic lies in the range of about 1 GHz and higher.

  • Patent number: 6358432
Abstract: A composite magnetic material comprises a ferrite powder and a resin, in which the ferrite powder comprises a cobalt substituted Y type hexagonal ferrite (2BaO.2CoO.6Fe2O3) or cobalt substituted Z type hexagonal ferrite (3BaO.2CoO.12Fe2O3), and the permeability at 2 GHz is 90% or more of that at 1 MHz.

  • Patent number: 6056285
Abstract: A sheet material feeding device includes: a press plate which is provided at a bottom portion of a cassette and on which sheet materials are loaded and which is swingable upward and downward; a feed roll which is positioned above the press plate and which feeds an uppermost sheet material of the sheet materials by rotating while contacting the uppermost sheet material; a limiting member provided above the press plate and limiting a stacked height of the sheet materials; a spring urging the press plate upward so that the uppermost sheet material abuts the limiting member; and a presser mechanism which swings the press plate downward against urging force of the spring when the uppermost sheet material is fed to a predetermined position by the feed roll. Accordingly, when the uppermost sheet material is fed to the predetermined position by the feed roll, the press plate is swung downward, and there is no frictional resistance between the limiting member and the uppermost sheet material.

  • Patent number: 5208159
Abstract: Two strains of chitinolytic bacteria respectively named "Corynebacterium Bine-A" "Achromobacter Bine-B", which were deposited under deposit numbers FERM BP-2879 and FERM BP-2880 in the Fermentation Research Institute, Agency of Industrial Science and Technology, Japan. At least one of these strains is incubated on a chitin or chitosan medium, to prepare a culture material, which is usable directly as a solid antibacterial composition or fermented or aged to produce a solid antibacterial composition. Alternatively, water is added to the prepared culture material, and either of the liquid and solid phases may be used as an antibacterial, anti-nematode, and/or plant-cell activating composition.

  • Patent number: 3955340
Abstract: A bundle of bills or like sheets to be bound is clamped between a pair of holder plates and is revolved therewith to a predetermined angular position, where the leading end of a tape is inserted into the bundle of sheets through one edge thereof by tape and insertion means comprising a movable separator finger and tape guide plate. This tape, having a layer of a thermoplastic synthetic resin adhesive coated on one surface thereof, is wound around the bundle of sheets as the same is further revolved with the holder plates. Tape bonding means including a heater pad is provided for thermally fastening the loose end of the tape wound around the bundle of sheets.
