  • Patent number: 6892616
Abstract: A cutting apparatus is capable of cutting a work-piece depending upon the quality of the work-piece. The cutting apparatus produces parallelism between a knife edge of a cutting blade and a mounting face of the work-piece. A support having the blade is provided to a column capable of controlling a tilting angle of the blade in a blade length direction. Cutting is executed by controlling vertical movement of the blade. A driving source is capable of controlling movement linearly. The driving source produces a parallel relationship between a surface of a table and a knife edge. Different supports are each unitized to include a driving source and the blade vertically moved by the driving source. The different supports can be mounted interchangeably and selectively on a column of a cutting apparatus.

Abstract: An antenna coil includes an air-core coil wound helically in a plane and a plate magnetic core member inserted in the air-core coil to be approximately parallel with a plane of the air-core coil. The magnetic core member is formed by a soft magnetic metal, an amorphous or ferrite, or a composite member of a powder, flake and plastic, or rubber. The magnetic core member is formed by performing an injection molding operation or a compressing molding operation of the composite member. Alternatively, the magnetic core member is a magnetic coating formed by applying and drying the composite member. A non-magnetic conductive plate that has a conductivity is layered on a surface of the air-core coil through which the magnetic core member is inserted. The conductive plate is made of a copper, a copper alloy, an aluminum or an aluminum alloy having 0.01 to 2 mm thickness. • Patent number: 6229444
Abstract: A theftproof tag which is effective regardless of the material of the article to which it is attached. There is neither a change in resonance of a resonance circuit nor a decrease in the Q value due to the material of the surface of a theft monitored article, thereby decreasing errors in the operation of a theft monitor. The theftproof tag has a resonance circuit resonating to an electric wave at a specified frequency transmitted from a transmitting antenna, and having a coil unit and a capacitor electrically connected to both ends of the coil unit. The coil unit has a magnetic core member made of a composite material composed of a powder or flakes of a soft magnetic metal, and a plastic, and a winding wound around the periphery of the magnetic core member and connected to the capacitor, a portion of the magnetic core member facing the attaching surface of the article.

  • Patent number: 6207106
Abstract: Hydrogen sulfide is dehydrogenated to generate a HS group and an S group. The HS group is oxidized to generate sulfuric acid, which is bonded to a metal. The S group is polymerized with a CH3S group to generate methyl trisulfide or methyl tetrasulfide, which is adsorbed to an adsorbent. Methyl mercaptan is dehydrogenated, for example, to generate a CH3S group. A portion of the CH3S group is oxidized to generate methanesulfonic acid, which is bonded to a metal. Another portion of the CH3S group is polymerized with the CH3S group itself to generate methyl disulfide, at least a portion of which is adsorbed to an adsorbent. Still another portion of the CH3S group is polymerized with the S group to generate methyl trisulfide or methyl tetrasulfide, which is physically adsorbed to an adsorbent. In this manner, malodor components including hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan can efficiently be removed without producing or release of harmful secondary products.

  • Patent number: 5603226
Abstract: This invention has as its object to provide a method and apparatus for controlling a vehicle air conditioner, which can obtain a combination of an outlet air flow rate V.sub.a and an outlet air temperature T.sub.o, which is desirable for comfort of a passenger, under a condition of air-conditioning control based on a heat balance equation. In order to achieve this object, this invention provides a method of controlling a vehicle air conditioner, including the first step of obtaining, from a heat balance equation, a plurality of combinations of the outlet air flow rates V.sub.a and the outlet air temperatures T.sub.o necessary for maintaining the passenger room temperature to be a predetermined target temperature, the second step of calculating comfort indices each representing the comfort level of a passenger on the basis of state amounts of factors which influence comfort felt by the passenger in the passenger room, and the plurality of combinations of the outlet air flow rates V.sub.

  • Patent number: 5518065
Abstract: An air conditioning control method of a vehicle includes the step of determining a target temperature of a passenger compartment of the vehicle, calculating a comfort index provided as a function of at least an outlet air temperature and outlet air volume flowing out of a heater-air-conditioner system in which air is treated to be introduce to a passenger compartment, setting a target comfort index, determining an optimized combination of the output air temperature and the output air volume which minimizes a deviation of the comfort index from the target comfort index, compensating the target temperature to reduce the deviation when the deviation is greater than a predetermined value. The optimized comfort level can be accomplished quickly through the control.
