  • Patent number: 8973726
Abstract: A hydraulic shock absorber includes: a cylinder which demarcates a piston oil chamber and a rod oil chamber; an outer cylinder body which demarcates between the cylinder and the outer cylinder body a reflux path that connects the piston oil chamber and the rod oil chamber with each other and which demarcates between a damper case and the outer cylinder body a reservoir chamber; and a valve structure mounted to the cylinder and the outer cylinder body. The valve structure has a valve for controlling an oil flow between the piston oil chamber and the reflux path and between the piston oil chamber and the reservoir chamber. The valve structure comprises a first valve structure mounted to an open end of the cylinder and a second valve structure mounted to an open end of the outer cylinder body. A cylinder assembly and an outer cylinder assembly are independently arranged.

  • Patent number: 8669942
Abstract: An operation unit has an operation surface for accepting an input operation. In a plan view, the operation surface has a rectangular contour including a plurality of sides and a plurality of corner portions. When each point at which extensions of adjacent two of the plural sides cross each other is defined as a virtual intersection, and when an intersection at which respective diagonals linking the virtual intersections cross each other is defined as a virtual center, the contour of the corner portion crosses the diagonal that passes through the virtual intersection and the virtual center, at a point between the virtual intersection in the vicinity of the corner portion and the virtual center. The corner portions is a specific corner portion having an intersection with the diagonal at a position closer to the virtual center than the adjacent two corner portions.

  • Publication number: 20120125846
Abstract: A filtration method for filtering raw water to obtain permeate by performing a filtration operation using pressure as a driving force for membrane modules, wherein the filtration operation is performed in three modes: raw water side pressure filtration, permeate side negative pressure filtration, and composite filtration combining the raw water side pressure filtration and the permeate side negative pressure filtration, any one of raw water side water quality, membrane filtration flux and transmembrane pressure is measured, and any one of the three filtration modes is switched to another in response to a measured value thereof.

  • Publication number: 20100096325
Abstract: A method of operating a membrane separator, in which a membrane module comprising a large number of exposed hollow fiber membranes is installed in an untreated water chamber, for making possible stable membrane filtering operation while maintaining a high yield by minimizing loads of the filter membranes and performing effective washing is to be provided, the method including a filtering step at which untreated water is filtered by giving a differential pressure between the primary side (untreated water side) and the secondary side (treated water side) of the hollow fiber membranes, a physical washing step of gas washing by ejecting a gaseous washing medium onto the primary side of the membrane module and of back-pressured water washing by feeding a backwashing medium from the secondary side of the hollow fiber membranes and letting it pass to the untreated water side of the hollow fiber membranes, and a drain step of discharging drain in the chamber out of the system after repeating twice or more the filteri
