    Abstract: A superimposed image forming apparatus, includes a plurality of electrophotographic photosensitive drums, toner image forming devices, provided for the respective photosensitive drums, for forming toner images on the respective photosensitive drums, image transfer devices, provided for the respective photosensitive drums, for transferring the toner images formed on the photosensitive drums onto a transfer material at respective image transfer stations, conveying devices for conveying the transfer material sequentially through the respective image transfer stations, and adjusting mechanisms for adjusting inclinations of rotational axes of the photosensitive drums. Thus, image inclination of a resultant image can be corrected by adjusting the inclination of the axis of the drum by an amount which is a half of the image inclination.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material in which at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers thereof contains an 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole magenta coupler substituted in the third position by a group represented by the following Formula [I];--R.sub.1 --SO.sub.2 --R.sub.2 Formula [I]wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkylene group having not less than 3 carbon atoms in the straight-chained portion thereof, which is capable of linking a --SO.sub.2 --R.sub.2 to the carbon atom in the third position of the nucleus of the 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole; and R.sub.2 represents an aryl group.The silver halide photographic light-sensitive materials of the invention are excellent in light-resistance of magenta dye images and also spectral absorption characteristics.

    Abstract: A method for forming a negative image comprising imagewise exposing a photographic material to provide exposed areas and unexposed areas, said material comprising, on a support, (1) an emulsion layer containing a light-sensitive silver halide, (2) unsensitized silver halide metallic salt grains which are more soluble in a developer than the light sensitive silver halide, and (3) nuclei for physical development, processing said material in the presence of a reducing agent and a solvent for said grains with said developer containing a substance which renders said grains less soluble by adsorbing thereto, said developer rendering said grains in said exposed areas and not in said unexposed areas soluble in said solvent, whereby metal ions are released and deposited on said nuclei.

The apparatus has an article transport path, an ejecting route, a suction belt, a thickness detector installed on the transport path and a roller assembly for compressing the flat article to the suction belt. The thickness detector determines the acceptable limits of the material passing on the transport path and when the article is within that predetermined range, the roller is activated to compress the flat article.
