    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a forged article, capable of improving the durability of a die for forging is provided. The method, includes forging a steel material, by using a die, by spraying or applying a water-soluble polymer lubricant containing 0.01 to 0.98 mass % of a water-soluble sulfate onto a working surface of the die, the die being made of a raw material having a constituent composition of by mass %, of 0.4 to 0.7% of C, 1.0% or less of Si, 1.0% or less of Mn, 4.0 to 6.0% of Cr, 2.0 to 4.0% of (Mo+½W), 0.5 to 2.5% of (V+Nb), 0 to 1.0% of Ni, 0 to 5.0% of Co, 0.02% or less of N, and a remnant composed of Fe and impurities, and having hardness of 55 to 60 HRC, and the die including a nitrided layer or a nitrosulfidized layer on the working surface thereof.

    Abstract: Provided is an organic electroluminescence element that eliminates uneven light emission and changes a light emitting pattern. The organic electroluminescence element including: a supporting substrate; a first electrode; N sets of light emitting units including one or more organic functional layers, where N represents an integer of 2 or more; and one or more (N?1) sets of intermediate metal layers with optical transparency, each disposed between the adjacent light emitting units; and a second electrode. Herein, at least one organic functional layer of each light emitting unit is a layer subjected to patterning using a mask during formation of the organic functional layer, a layer subjected to patterning via light irradiation after formation of the organic functional layer, or a layer subjected to patterning using a mask during formation of the organic functional layer and further subjected to patterning via light irradiation after the formation of the organic functional layer.

    Abstract: A cable cap of a control cable has a small-diameter portion and a large-diameter portion on an outer tube side, and a large-diameter portion on a tip side. A bracket includes a cutout groove, into which the small-diameter portion of the cable cap can be inserted from above, an engaging projection that is formed in such a manner as to project from an inner wall of the cutout groove toward another inner wall opposite to the inner wall, and an engaging recess to be engaged with an edge portion of an outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter portion on the outer tube side in a state in which the outer tube side of the control cable is inclined around the small-diameter portion as a fulcrum engaged with the engaging projection by operating force from the outside.
