A polymer suspension comprising the polymer having an average particle size of 50 to 500 ?m prepared by suspension polymerization and a polymer latex prepared by emulsion polymerization are mixed in a proportion of 22 to 100 parts by weight of the emulsion polymer based on 100 parts by weight of the suspension polymer.

    Abstract: A purpose of the invention is to provide a manufacturing method for a semiconductor substrate in which a high quality strained silicon channel can easily be formed without sacrificing the processing efficiency of a wafer and to provide a manufacturing method for a semiconductor device wherein the driving performance of a PMOS transistor, in addition to that of an NMOS transistor, can be improved. The invention provides a manufacturing method for a semiconductor substrate with the steps of: forming a SiGe film on the top surface of a substrate having a silicon monocrystal layer in the (111) or (110) plane direction as the surface layer; introducing buried crystal defects into the above described substrate by carrying out ion implantation and annealing treatment; and forming a semiconductor film on the above described SiGe film.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a process for preparing 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione, comprising reacting a pivalic acid alkyl ester with pinacolone in the presence of an alkali metal alkoxide catalyst using a pivalic acid alkyl ester as a solvent but using no other solvent or reacting them in an amide type or urea type solvent in the presence of an alkali metal alkoxide catalyst. Also disclosed is a process for preparing a 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanesione metal complex using the 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione obtained by the above process. The process for preparing 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione is an industrially advantageous process in which an alkali metal alkoxide that is easy to handle can be used as a catalyst for preparing 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione from a pivalic acid alkyl ester and pinacolone.

    Abstract: A measurement apparatus includes a speed sensor, a cadence sensor and a display portion. The apparatus further includes a transmit portion for wirelessly transmitting signals detected by the speed sensor and the cadence sensor to the display portion. The transmit portion is provided with a shaft portion extending in one direction, which rotatably supports the cadence sensor and the speed sensor. A measurement body portion including the speed sensor, the cadence sensor and the transmit portion is mounted on chain stay. The display portion is mounted on a portion of a handle in the field of vision of a rider of the bicycle, and it has functions of receiving and processing signals transmitted from the transmit portion, and displaying prescribed information. Thus, the measurement apparatus that can easily be mounted to a bicycle and the sensor apparatus applied thereto are obtained.

The aqueous high-concentration solution of N,N-dialkylglycine which contains the N,N-dialkylglycine at a concentration of 30–80% by mass, and a metal-mineral acid salt at a content of 0.3–3% by mass can be produced industrially from an aqueous N,N-dialkylglycine alkali metal salt as the source material by the steps of (i) neutralizing an aqueous solution of an N,N-dialkylglycine alkali metal salt with a mineral acid, (ii) condensing the obtained aqueous solution by removal of water, and (iii) separating by solid-liquid separation the deposited alkali metal-mineral acid salt from the resulting slurry of the aqueous N,N-dialkylglycine solution and the alkali metal-mineral acid salt.
