  • Publication number: 20020040351
Abstract: A negotiation between a requester and responders is mediated through a network. A mediation negotiating method has: a request forming step which forms requesting conditions in which priorities have been allocated to request contents in response to a mediating request of the requester; a requesting step which forms a negotiation field between a plurality of responders selected in accordance with the requesting conditions and the requester, inputs the requesting conditions, and notifies all of the selected responders of the requesting conditions; and a responding step which receives response information from the responders who participate in the negotiation field and notifies all participants including the requester and the other responders of the received response information.

  • Patent number: 6359703
Abstract: An image processor includes an input device that inputs image data representing a target image, and a color gamut mapping device that performs a color gamut mapping process. The image processor also includes a color reproduction process device that performs a color reproduction process, and a judgment device that judges whether a monochromatic mode for forming an image on a recording medium is set. A controller controls the color gamut mapping device and the color reproduction device, with the controller inhibiting the color gamut mapping device from performing a color mapping process on the input image data when a judgment is made that the monochromatic color mode is set.

  • Publication number: 20010051898
Abstract: An information mediating apparatus has: a mediating condition file in which mediating condition list data describing specific mediating conditions has been stored; and a personal information file in which personal information peculiar to a person, a group, or the like has been stored. A mediation service processing unit reads out the mediating condition list data designated in response to a mediating request from the user from the mediating condition file, notifies a backend server in a service providing server group, collects and selects service information matched with the mediating condition list data, and displays it to the user. The mediating service processing unit is constructed by: a user interface processing unit having an HTML forming function; and a logic processing unit described as an information mediating program.

  • Patent number: 6268930
Abstract: A color image processing system includes storage of plural specific color data representing a gamut of an output device and judgment of whether input color image data is within the gamut of the output device, the judgment performed based on a positional relationship among a plane defined by the plural specific color data, predetermined color data within the gamut of the output device, and the input color image data.

  • Patent number: 6023344
Abstract: A color value operation unit generates the sum of C, M, Y and K signal levels inputted from an external device by pixel. A control value operation unit compares the total Color.sub.-- In of the levels of each of the color components generated by the color value operation unit and the maximum input level Color.sub.-- Lim indicating the capability of a printer, then generates a limitation value Lim which is used for converting the input image signal levels to levels within the capability of the printer. A control processing unit reduces the input signal levels by using the limitation value Lim output from the control value operation unit, then outputs the image signals whose levels are reduced to the printer. Therefore, even in a case where C, M, Y and K image signals generated in an external device are input to a printer of a color copying machine, the levels of the input image signals are controlled in accordance with the capability of the printer, thus it is possible to output an image of high quality.

  • Patent number: 5917939
Abstract: A color image processing apparatus is rendered capable, in case of output of a color image, displayed for example on a color display, by an output device such as a hard copying device, of judging the color reproduction range of each output device with a limited memory capacity, by defining the color reproduction range of each output device by the interior of a hexahedron on a uniform color space (L*, a*, b*) and judging whether the input image signal Q is present inside the hexahedron by the product of the input image signal with an internal point P with respect to each plane (i) constituting the hexahedron.

  • Patent number: 5768410
Abstract: A color signal processing apparatus which is capable of providing satisfactory operation accuracy while keeping the memory size relatively small. A dividing circuit divides three input signals R, G, and B into upper bit data and lower bit data. A first table memory stores output values for all combinations of the three upper bit signals, the upper bit data of the three input signals being accepted as address signals and a first output value being provided. A second table memory stores the output values for all combinations of signal values obtained by adding a prescribed offset (e.g. 2.sup.NL /2) to a signal value which is expressed by upper bits, upper bit data of the three input signals being accepted as address signals and a second output value being provided. An interpolation circuit outputs a final output signal in accordance with the output value of the first table memory, the output value of the second table memory and the lower bit data.

  • Patent number: 5255212
Abstract: A method for calculating a physical flow quantity of a fluid or magnetofluid propagating over a surface such as in a wind tunnel. The method includes the steps of setting a main mesh having predetermined mesh spacing relative to space and time. The method sets a sub-mesh having a mesh spacing smaller than that of the main mesh in space regions between points in the main mesh, in which the magnitude of inclination of the physical quantity is above a first preset level. Next, the method sets mesh points, at which the magnitude of inclination of the physical quantity is greater than a second level that is greater than the first level, as singular points. Thereafter, the method calculates, via a CIP method, the values at the mesh points of the main mesh after an increment of time (a mesh spacing of the main mesh over the time variable). The values at the mesh points of the sub-mesh after the increment of time are also calculated via the CIP method.
