Abstract: A breather device that communicates an inside of a case with an outside of the case in a vertical direction includes a cylindrical body having a hollow portion that extends in the vertical direction, a stopper inserted in the hollow portion, and a blocking body that is located in a space defined by the stopper in the hollow portion, and blocks a communicating hole provided in a lower part of the cylindrical body as viewed in the vertical direction. The communicating hole ceases to be blocked when the pressure inside the case exceeds a first predetermined value, and the blocking body moves upward in the vertical direction in the space.

Meanwhile, in a high-frequency resonance suppression controller, an inverter torque command value ?inv* is outputted based on the torque detection value ?det and a corrected torque command value ?r* obtained by adding the low-frequency torque controller output ?dc* to the vibrational torque command value ?pd*. The invention thus provides shaft torque vibrational control of a motor drive system wherein engine vibrational torque command values including distortion components are tracked while entirely removing the influence of resonance, non-periodic disturbances, and periodic disturbances.

Abstract: An image display device includes a plurality of display elements configured to emit image light corresponding to a plurality of separate areas, and an ocular optical system configured to emit, to a position corresponding to an eye of an observer, the image light emitted from the plurality of display elements. The ocular optical system causes images to overlap with each other in a blending area including a boundary between the plurality of areas. An overlapping angle width in a direction orthogonal to the boundary of the blending area on a central visual field side is smaller than an overlapping angle width in the direction orthogonal to the boundary of the blending area on a peripheral visual field side.
Abstract: In an optical switch array on which optical switches that require individual electric wires are integrated, the present invention provides an optical switch array and a multi-cast switch in which the electric wires are shortened by optimizing the arrangement of the optical circuit portion. In the optical switch array in which three arrays of 1×4 switch circuits are disposed in parallel, the position where each optical switch is disposed is sequentially shifted by Dy in the y axis direction. That is, in the case where an adjacent 1×4 optical switch circuit exists on both sides, the 1×4 optical switch located there between is located at the center of the two 1×4 optical switch circuits, which are adjacent in the y axis direction.

Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a sintered body that forms a rare-earth permanent magnet, has a single sintered structure and an arbitrary shape, and has easy magnetization axis orientations of different directions applied to the magnet material particles in a plurality of arbitrary regions. This method forms a three-dimensional first molded article from a composite material formed by mixing a resin material and magnet material particles containing a rare-earth substance. The first molded article is then subjected to a deforming force and a second molded article is formed in which the orientation direction of the easy magnetization axis of the magnet material particles in at least the one section of the horizontal cross-section is changed to a direction which differs from the orientation direction of the first molded article. The second molded article is heated to a sintering temperature and kept at the temperature for a period of time.
