  • Patent number: 10334628
Abstract: A transmitter generates a header frame having a frame length indicating the beginning of data to be transmitted, data frames having frame lengths representing the data to be transmitted, and an end frame having a frame length indicating the end of the data to be transmitted. Then, for all of the header frame, data frames and end frame, the transmitter executes transmitting the kth frame when the wireless communication space is available, thereby transmitting the header frame, data frames and end frame, one after another, in accordance with the CSMA/CA scheme.

  • Patent number: 10194392
Abstract: When a terminal device initiates a wireless communication when it has not established a wireless link between itself and another wireless device, it transmits, as a management frames in active scanning, a plurality of activation probe requests having frame lengths representing an identifier of a wireless base station to which connection is being made and which is intended to transition from sleep mode to operating mode. Then, the wireless base station receives the plurality of activation probe requests transmitted by the terminal device as management frames in active scanning in a wireless LAN, and, when a plurality of dummy network identifiers detected based on the received plurality of activation probe requests represent the identifier of its own, transitions from sleep mode to operating mode.

  • Patent number: 9989939
Abstract: A wireless device (1) searches a database that stores positional information of the wireless device (1), a device (2-4) and control identifiers for controlling the devices (2-4) in an associated manner, acquires a device (2-4) located near the wireless device (1) and a control identifier for controlling the device (2-4) based on the positional information of the wireless device (1), and, based on the device (2-4) and the control identifier for controlling the device (2-4) that have been acquired, determines a controlled device (at least one of the devices (2-4)) and generates a control identifier for the controlled device. The wireless device (1) transmits, by wireless communication, the generated controlled identifier to a receiver mounted on the controlled device to control the controlled device.

  • Patent number: 9532379
Abstract: A receiver has an ID that includes three signal detection intervals (S1, S2, S3). The three signal detection intervals (S1, S2, S3) are detected as the receiver detects a signal consisting of a value larger than a threshold at each of the detection timings (DT1 to DT4). The transmitter transmits four radio frames (FR1 to FR4) such that each of the radio frames straddles the corresponding one of the detection timings (DT1 to DT4) in the receiver.

  • Patent number: 9408148
Abstract: A terminal device (1) frame-length-modulates an identifier of the radio apparatus (3) to generate a plurality of frames having a plurality of frame lengths, and transmits the generated plurality of frames to an access point (2) over wire or wireless communication. The access point (2) transfers the plurality of frames transmitted by the terminal device (1) to the radio apparatus (3) in the IP or MAC layer. The radio apparatus (3) detects the plurality of frame lengths of the plurality of frames received from the access point (2) and decodes the detected plurality of frame lengths to obtain an identifier. If the obtained identifier matches the identifier of the radio apparatus (3), the radio apparatus (3) transitions to active mode.

  • Patent number: 9025697
Abstract: A transmitter incorporates a table (TBL1) for assigning the frame lengths of 560 ?s and 600 ?s to the code “0” in a binary system and assigning the frame lengths of 600 ?s and 560 ?s to the code “1” in the binary system. The transmitter refers to the table (TBL1) and assigns the two frame lengths of 560 ?s and 600 ?s and the two frame lengths of 600 ?s and 560 ?s to the codes “0” and “1”, respectively, in the code sequences [0,0], [0,1], [1,0] and [1,1] representing the transmission information “0” to “3” represented using the binary system, and sequentially transmits four radio signals having the assigned four frame lengths.
