  • Patent number: 11926153
Abstract: A droplet discharge apparatus includes a discharge device, a plurality of waveform generation units, a plurality of correction units, and a drive unit. The discharge device discharges droplets of a plurality of droplet types according to a plurality of drive waveforms. The plurality of waveform generation units individually generate drive waveforms used to discharge each of the plurality of droplet types. The plurality of correction units individually correct the drive waveforms generated by each of the plurality of waveform generation units, using correction magnifications different corresponding to the drive waveforms generated by the plurality of waveform generation units, to generate correction waveforms. The drive unit causes the discharge device to discharge the droplets according to corrected drive waveforms generated by individually switching the drive waveform corresponding to the plurality of droplet types to the correction waveforms.

  • Patent number: 9950513
Abstract: A controller for a liquid discharging device generates a correction chart including a reference pattern and a correction part, using a liquid discharged from a liquid discharge head, the liquid discharge head having a plurality of nozzles that are arranged to form a nozzle array. The controller drives a predetermined number of the plurality of nozzles to form the reference pattern on the recording sheet along a direction of the nozzle array, the predetermined number being a number equal to or less than a total number of the plurality of nozzles of the nozzle array, and drives a number of the plurality of nozzles that is different than the predetermined number of nozzles driven in forming the reference pattern, to form the correction pattern on the recording sheet along the direction of the nozzle array.

  • Patent number: 9850088
Abstract: A sheet conveying device includes a sheet skew corrector to correct a skew of a leading end of a sheet inclining from a sheet conveyance direction and a pair of registration rollers disposed upstream of the sheet skew corrector in the sheet conveyance direction. The pair of registration rollers freely contacts and separates from each other. The pair of registration rollers conveys the sheet downstream of the sheet skew corrector in the sheet conveyance direction when driven at a prescribed time. A pair of conveyance rollers is placed upstream of the pair of registration rollers in the sheet conveyance direction. The pair of conveyance rollers continuously sandwiches the sheet from when the sheet with the skew corrected is sandwiched by the pair of registration rollers to when a trailing end of the sheet passes between the pair of conveyance rollers.
