Abstract: A block valve of the present invention comprises; a block portion (1) comprised of a trunk fluid channel penetrating the block portion (1) and four branch fluid channels branching in pair from the trunk fluid channel, and four valve members (2) for permitting or cutting of communication of each of the branch fluid channels, wherein the branch fluid channels are formed so that, in an arrow direction X indicating the extending direction of the trunk fluid channel, the forward valve member (2) do not ride over the backward valve member (2). Internal volume and residence area of the block valve of the present invention are smaller than those of conventional block valve.

Abstract: A panel moving mechanism for a sunshine roof of the type in which the rear end of a panel for closing an opening of the roof of a vehicle is raised and lowered. The mechanism includes a shoe and an arm which are pivotally connected. A pair of pins protrude from the arm and are inserted into respective guide grooves provided in a guide block and a bracket connected to the panel. The longitudinal axes of these guide grooves are bent at the middle sections thereof and are arranged in such a manner that they are not parallel. When the shoe moves toward the front end of the vehicle, the arm is gradually brought to a raised position, thereby raising the rear end of the panel. When the shoe moves toward the rear end of the vehicle, the arm is gradually brought to a horizontal position, thereby lowering the rear end of the panel.

Abstract: The present invention provides a wind deflector for a sunroof which has a deflector panel rotatably mounted on a roof through hinges each including a first hinge piece and a second hinge piece pivotally connected to each other through a hinge pin forward of the front end of an opening in a roof, the first and second hinge pieces extending downwardly to a position above a rain gutter under the opening in the roof. As a result, the invention significantly reduce the level of wind throb and wind noise and prevents rainwater from entering into the passenger compartment of a vehicle.

Abstract: A sliding panel which closes an opening formed in an automobile roof can be placed inside the roof to open the opening. A rain channel is located below the rear end of the opening when the opening is closed, to accept incoming water. The channel is placed inside the roof together with the panel. The channel moves relative to the panel in a direction opposite to the direction of movement of the panel inside the roof, for reducing the space needed to accommodate the panel.
