  • Patent number: 12055312
Abstract: An air conditioner includes an indoor unit, an outdoor unit, an outdoor expansion valve, an indoor expansion valve, and a controller. The controller executes first control and second control. The first control includes stopping cooling operation or heating operation if a first condition is satisfied during cooling operation or heating operation, and then starting cooling operation or heating operation if a second condition is satisfied. The first condition indicates that a heat load in a target space is low. The second condition relates to the heat load in the target space. The second control includes setting opening degrees of the outdoor expansion valve and the indoor expansion valve upon a start of cooling operation or heating operation according to the first control to be larger than opening degrees upon satisfaction of the first condition.

  • Publication number: 20240219058
Abstract: A heat source unit includes: a first switching valve configured to switch between a first state where the first switching valve brings a discharge side of a compressor and a high and low pressure gas connection pipe into communication with each other and a second state where the first switching valve brings the high and low pressure gas connection pipe and a suction side of the compressor into communication with each other; a second switching valve configured to switch between a third state where the second switching valve brings the discharge side of the compressor and a gas end of a first heat exchange section into communication with each other and a fourth state where the second switching valve brings the suction side of the compressor and the gas end of the first heat exchange section into communication with each other; and a refrigerant flow path provided with the second heat exchange section, and having two ends respectively connected to the discharge side of the compressor and a portion of the liquid l

  • Publication number: 20240191900
Abstract: An outdoor unit in an air conditioning system includes: a first control valve; and a control unit that controls the first control valve and that is configured to cause the air conditioning system to operate in a first control mode or a second control mode based on presence or absence of a valve unit that includes a second control valve and that is disposed between the outdoor unit and indoor units of the air conditioning system that are connected in parallel to the outdoor unit. In a case where the valve unit is absent from the air conditioning system, the control unit causes the air conditioning system to operate in the first control mode in which a pressure of a refrigerant to be supplied to the indoor units is adjusted by controlling the first control valve.
