  • Patent number: 10053576
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a thermoplastic resin for a household plumbing equipment includes: reacting an acid component including a terephthalic acid and a glycol component including a trimethylene glycol derived from a plant to form a poly trimethylene terephthalate resin as a condensation polymer of a formed glycol ester; and combining the poly trimethylene terephthalate resin with a polymethyl methacrylate resin in a mass ratio of 90:10-50:50 to form a thermoplastic resin, wherein the thermoplastic resin includes the polymethyl methacrylate resin and the polytrimethylene terephthalate resin in an amount of 80% or more by mass of a total amount of the formed thermoplastic resin.

  • Publication number: 20130007953
Abstract: Providing: a molding material for a household plumbing equipment which has superior surface hardness as well as superior water resistance for use in the household plumbing equipment inherent from a polymethyl methacrylate resin, and yet has improved solvent resistance; and a household plumbing equipment fabricated using the molding material. The molding material for a household plumbing equipment is characterized by containing a thermoplastic resin comprising the polymethyl methacrylate resin and a polytrimethylene terephthalate resin in a mass ratio of 90:10-50:50.

  • Patent number: 8128741
Abstract: A dissolving apparatus has a cylindrical tubular container closed at both ends with its center axis being inclined to the horizon. A center of an interface between a gas and a liquid in the container is positioned at a center in a lengthwise direction of a side wall of the container. Two inner spaces of the container above and below the interface are referred to as a gas section and a liquid section. An injection inlet for injecting a gas-liquid mixed fluid into the container is provided at a level corresponding to, or lower than, the interface. A liquid outlet for discharging the liquid is provided near a bottom of the liquid section of the container. Since the container is inclined, the interface can have an area large enough to promote dissolution of the gas into the liquid. Since the depth of the liquid in the liquid section is sufficiently deep, the liquid can be prevented from being discharged through the liquid outlet with large gas bubbles being present therein.

  • Patent number: 8099802
Abstract: Flush toilet equipment comprises a bowl, a flush mechanism that supplies flush water to the bowl through a flush water passage, and a minute bubble generator. The minute bubble generator generates minute bubbles. The bubbles are 0.1-1000 ?m in bubble diameter and mixed with the flush water. In this construction, since the minute bubbles are fully diffused into the flush water, various effects such as improvement of toilet flush effect, etc. can be further enhanced.
