    Abstract: Provided is an exterior structure of a vehicle door that includes a first exterior member and a second exterior member which are attached to the vehicle door and overlap each other as viewed from the vehicle exterior side. The first exterior member creates a clearance between the vehicle door and a portion of the first exterior member which overlaps the second exterior member. The vehicle door exterior structure is provided at the overlapping portions between the first exterior member and the second exterior member with an alignment portion which determines the position of the first exterior member in the vehicle interior and exterior directions via the second exterior member. The alignment portion makes it possible to properly align the overlapping portions of the two exterior members in the vehicle interior and exterior directions, thus making it possible to raise the quality of the vehicle door exterior structure.
