  • Publication number: 20090110386
Abstract: A photographic apparatus infers a user's photographic intent and accordingly switches between a manual shoot mode and an automatic shoot mode. In the manual shoot mode, processing to save photographic image data is timed in accordance with the user operating a user-operable shutter element, while in the automatic shoot mode, such processing is conducted independently of shutter element operations. A photographic unit photographs a scene, acquires photographic image data of a subject, and then executes processing for saving the photographic image data. An intention judgment information detector detects intention judgment information used to judge the photographic intent of the user. A controller makes an intention judgment using the intention judgment information from the intention judgment information detector, and according to the intention judgment result, causes the photographic unit to selectively execute the operations for one of the modes.

  • Publication number: 20080148012
Abstract: A mathematical operation processing apparatus is disclosed by which the supply of an operand which is performed based on condition codes by a plurality of mathematical operations can be performed at a high speed. The mathematical operation processing apparatus includes a plurality of computing elements configured to perform different mathematical operations different from one another and produce mathematical operation results of the mathematical operations and condition codes. A condition code set register retains the condition codes produced simultaneously by the computing elements as a condition code set. A condition code conversion section performs a predetermined conversion for the condition code set and outputs a result of the conversion as a conversion condition code set. An operand supplying section supplies an operand for the mathematical operations in the computing elements based on the conversion condition code set.

  • Publication number: 20070110243
Abstract: It is an object to provide an efficient transfer of content data. In a case of transferring the content data from a data transfer device on a primary recording medium side to a data recording device to record the content data in a secondary recording medium, a data compression system and a bit rate that are conformable to the data recording device are compared with a data compression system and a bit rate of the content data to be sent, so that a required transfer processing is brought into realization according to a result of the comparison. For instance, when both the data compression systems are equal, and the bit rate of the content data is not more than the bit rate that is conformable to the data recording device, the content data is sent as it is in an encrypted compressed data state.

  • Publication number: 20040196976
Abstract: Input data (plain text data or encrypted text data) are latched according to a clock CLK1 and, after initial transposition thereof, the data are outputted from a selector 62. The lower-order bits of the output data from the selector 62 are processed through expanded transposition and then are calculated together with key data K1 in an XOR circuit, and the result data are latched according to a clock CLK2. The latched 48-bit data are divided into eight 6-bits data, each of which is then replaced with 4-bit data, and after combination thereof, the data are transposed. In the calculations of second and subsequent stages, the data obtained through replacement and combination in a replacement/combination circuit 66 are latched according to the clock CLK1 and then are outputted from the selector 62.
