    Abstract: A tissue capturing device is formed by a substantially circular cylinder-shaped container, a filter member, and a lens member. Recessed portions that have a sufficient size to enable them to capture biological tissue are formed in a circumferential wall portion of the circular column portion. A plurality of micro through holes that penetrate as far as a bottom surface of the partitioning portion are formed in the tissue capturing surfaces of the recessed portions. A lens member is also mounted on the container. The mounting position of the lens member is a position that faces the tissue capturing surfaces.
