  • Publication number: 20140223940
Abstract: An air-conditioning apparatus includes a refrigeration cycle that includes an intermediate heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between a heat source side refrigerant and a heat medium different from the heat source side refrigerant, a heat medium circuit that includes at least one pump configured to circulate the heat medium related to heat exchange in the intermediate heat exchanger, a use side heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the heat medium and air related to an air-conditioned space, and flow switching valves. A controller is configured to perform control to activate the pump to circulate the heat medium through the heat medium circuit when, during suspension of an air conditioning operation, the detected temperature of outdoor air is at or below a first predetermined temperature and a first predetermined period of time has elapsed since the pump was stopped.

  • Publication number: 20140216083
Abstract: A refrigerant circuit is configured by connecting, by pipes, a compressor that compresses a heat-source-side refrigerant, a first refrigerant flow switching device, a heat-source-side heat exchanger, an expansion device, and one or more intermediate heat exchangers that exchange heat between a heat-source-side refrigerant and a heat medium that is different from the heat-source-side refrigerant. A controller performs control of pumps to drive the pumps at a specific pump capacity or higher to circulate the heat medium at a time when a heat recovery defrosting operation for causing the heat-source-side refrigerant that has been heated by the heat medium in the intermediate heat exchangers to flow into the heat-source-side heat exchanger for defrosting purposes.

  • Publication number: 20140069391
Abstract: A fuel injection controller has terminals which can be connected to the coil of the fuel injector. A first valve-open control portion supplies the valve-opening voltage to the terminals for opening the fuel injector. The first valve-open control portion stops supplying the electric supply to the coil before the fuel injector is positioned at a full-open position. Before the fuel injector is fully dosed, a small injection quantity can be obtained. A demagnetization portion forms a demagnetization circuit for demagnetizing the magnetism remaining in the coil. A normal-injection portion controls the fuel injector at full-open position.

  • Publication number: 20140069390
Abstract: A fuel injection controller supplies a valve-opening voltage VF1 to a fuel injector. In order to obtain a small injection quantity, the controller terminates a supply of the valve-opening voltage before the fuel injector is fully opened. A bias-control portion supplies a bias voltage to the fuel injector instead of the valve-opening voltage. A valve-close detecting portion detects a valve-closing time by detecting an inflection point on a waveform of an electric current flowing through the coil. A correction-amount computing portion computes a correction amount based on the detected valve-closing time. A correction portion corrects an electric supply period based on the correction amount.

  • Publication number: 20130241476
Abstract: A foreign matter sensing device includes a first determiner that determines whether there is a foreign matter in a foreign matter detection range based on an image imaged by an imaging portion, and a second determiner that determines whether there is a foreign matter in the foreign matter detection range based on a temperature sensed by a temperature sensor. The second determiner executes determining whether there is a foreign matter in the foreign matter detection range while electric-power is transferred between a vehicle-side coil and an out-of-vehicle coil, when the first determiner determines that there is no foreign matter after the imaging portion images the image of the foreign matter detection range in response to a start demand instructing to start transferring electric-power.
